wah r1 08..power.. some ppl run in according to manual. some religiously believe in hard run in. depends on ur belief. and since u got ur r1.. i realise that ur postin on this thread has been very humble. but at garage sales.. different attitude.

 

fufu.. yup run in using manual kinda slow.. just whack ur bike when u feel like it. but not always. i 2nd day already redline my bike. haha

Didn't bring my suit so just sort of walk from one end to the other & back again the owner of the bike was driving so the shop asked me to ride up with the K7 so they cud practice on it... Erm,,, wats your fuel consumption like ah? I cruise around the bike constant 120-150, get like 180km oni then reserve light cumm out ley..

the best way to run in is to run IPPT 2.4 with the bike, must run

brothers what is the cost for left and right yoshi engine covers... i need e alternator to be protected also... if lets say total of 3 pieces >>> is like 400 plus/// then can anyone compare to carbon fibre engine guards from sebimoto...

Vortex for 400 plus does it have all e 3 pieces... i was using sebimoto CF guards and its was like e glued up thingy... also where to get woodcraft de.(heard its good stuff)

bro.. i would reccomend u get vortex, nrc or woodcraft as it covers/replace the whole area... yoshi only covers bottom if u worry abt modding the k7's to k5's.. i've seen a k7 crash with those yoshi at track.. outcome.. no crack but still deep scratches on the engine cases due to stones, debris on the grass area.. alternantor?? but i noe it comes with both side

True. If you are hardcore racer on the track, it is highly recommend that you invest on vortex, nrc or woodcraft.

The Yoshi case saver only protects partially.

 

srady, for valve clearance guan hoe shd b the ok coz u noe they are dealing n familiar with suzuki motor.. for fork, gasket n oil change most shop doing roughly for $280+.. since u wanna service ur fork.. u might wanna invest more to change a bitubo basic setup which replaces the oem rings n gasket dat make a k5/k6 fork leakage problems... u can try mezzo, bitubo agent juz beside motorworld..

 

What is the cost of getting the bitubo basic setup ? What does it include ?

Is it cheaper to get RaceTech setup ?

maverick.. its called S-KIT Sliding Fork Kit.. consist of below pics.. the last time i ask was.. 300+.. with servicing oil change n set up to ur riding height.. so istead of changing original gaskets n rings which give some k5/k6 fork leakage.. u top up abit more for a good one.. abt race tec i not sure..
