1) knock out the catalytic converter

2) insulate the mid pipe

3) insulate her legs

4) change to a after market street legal mid pipe

 

so now u know y e R1 is one of e "HOTTEST" bike around...

 

well after i changed my pipes my pillion stopped complaining but the rider still get as much heat..

 

"Hot" as in? i was never troubled by the heat issue on a R1. nice bike..

Usually doesn't include insurance cos insurance premium varies with each and every rider. I don't think it is compulsory that insurance has to be 1st party cos it depends on rider's preference and budget. However for a brand new bike, it is best that a comprehensive insurance policy be bought...

Plus for me when I changed my coolant to Maxima Cool-Aide and use Amsoil fully synthetic EO, my bike's temperature does not get hot as fast as when I used Engine Ice and Yamaha fully synthetic EO...
