blurrin u go find ah xiong straight, he can solve for u one, chop chop plus gurantee but price kena chop i dun gurantee but they noe their stuff very well. hehehe this c28 is a common problem for k4/k5 600 which i read in the net. throttle body butterfly valve or sumtin. i gave u the webby have u tried it out? they so called bypass the butterfly valve cable.

you can do 3 things;

1) solve the problem, either DIY, or send to bikeshop.

or

2) open yr tank, or use screwdriver(no open tank), turn the butterfly valve on the left side of yr tank to fully open. you can go and ride as normal but r lower end will jerk abit, like want to die like tat... the FI will still be there la, bopian.

or

3) take out the whole throttle assmebly, FI wil be no more but bike will still jerk in the lower region.

the throttle valve is to control the low end of yr bike + some say emission control, without it, you will have good high end(if it is open fully), but poor lower end.

also its a common prob for the 600s...

Ya, initial i also scared so be the first person to let him to some experiment on my bike. Maybe the way he do might lost to Meng Tong but still able to sovle the problem, consider not bad.

My bike does not has this trouble of error code c28, is just that i wanted to lift up the butterfly value. But if I lift up the Valve, error code will appear, so need to pass by the ECU to prevent the error code from hunting me.

y dont you try to open up yr bike and diagnose it yrself for a beginning... at least you get to know yr bike better... and if it suddenly works or you managed to pinpoint the prob and get it fix, you might just save up some $$ for yrself...

just need to have some self confidence in yrself to learn abt yr bike...

i myself was not confident to fix up my own bike when the prob occured, but since i dont want to spend on some error that i can diagnose myself, i built up my confidence to open up my bike but of course with the help of the service manual... :thumb:

just an advise, you might need another fren to help bring down the fuel tank...

just need to becareful on this part only... once it is done, the rest use ammeter to check the connection, wires etc...

haha... just starting to learn on the simple things that can be done by oneself. must sometimes refrain from "asking" too much help from bikeshop.. $$ alot go to them last time, little error go bikeshop, so must budget a little, now economy bad.

actually DIY is much better la... i get to know more abt my bike, how to open them up, fix it back up etc...

BUT when it comes to coolant/tires and other big issues, have to of course bring to shop, bopian... no xperience in these things... :cheeky:
