What micro sleep? I was alert and looking in front. You can't expect me to ride and look down at the road, right? By the time that big rock was within view, I tried to swerve to avoid it but it was too late. See how big the rock is? When my bike went over it, it broke into two. Repairs estimated $1K plus...

These days, the condition of SG roads are appalling ...

 

1) Perpetual road works (digging + filling back unevenly),

 

2) Bloody loaded construction trucks taking corners daily at high speed and spilling gravel + wet cement on the tarmac,

 

Is this how LTA is spending our road tax money?

Ya lor. When the TP IO was taking my statement, he said that if there is a charge against me, it would be for careless riding. However, due to the circumstances, he said there is a good chance that I will only be let off with a warning.

 

I told him that if I was charged, then I'm gonna seek redress from LTA for letting those huge construction trucks drop rocks unto the roads and they did not clear it up. I even took pictures around the area to prove my point. See those huge rocks lying around? Those rocks were thrown to the grass patch by the motorists who helped me after my accident...

U got to experience how it feels when u can only maintain 85kmh on the highways.

yes, it can hit 100, but engine sounds like gg to explode anytime n bike is wobbling like a jelly at this speed.

 

 

 

 

benson...u should try this...i just bought this bike last week...i use this bike for daily commuter....can easily hit 140kmh (speedometer read), fuel 1 litre for 30km, 110kg, its fuel injection, its cool design (atleast for me)....very light, very flickable, its KLX250 supermoto....

im not sure this bike available at sg or not yet......its made in thailand....

Accident. Bike ran over a big rock in the middle of my lane. Lost control, tank slapped and got thrown off. Bike went up the kerb and landed on the left side. Fairings broken, front rim dented, forks bent, headlights bracket and engine cover cracked and sidestand can't be kicked up. Bike will only be ready 3 weeks after Chinese New Year...

I'm OK, bros. Luckily I flew off my bike and landed on the grass verge by the side of the road. Suffered abrasions on my left hand and bruises here and there. Only got 3 days MC cos no serious injuries...

I would love to try all these supermotard but 1st, my legs r short, 2nd, can't put box. I'll jus hang on to my current bikes and maybe in a yr or 2, I'll change to some maxi scooter(I'm old oredi, 26 this yr.)

Tmax might be the choice.

Ya lor. There are a lot of huge ass trucks passing by that Punggol Way conveying sand, rocks or cement. There are also a lot of debris on the road there. I've always been careful when cornering there due to that. Just didn't expect a bloody rock to be my downfall...
