u dun mind lece, u pay less...u dun like lece...no probs...just be prepared to pay more... cos local or not...exhaust sure have. Anyway, now u know ur budget is gd, next u need to go survey, see whether any dealer can fit ur budget. For arrow go to biketech, for akrapovic go to works performances, for leovince can contact g-max, they have a thread here in sbf, for giannelli can contact motovation, if u dun mind non-legal can check for m4 with bikelab. They also have kr tuned now. for gpr can check with gpr asia, thread under advertisers' board. for yoshi can check with motorworld. so all u need to do now is visit or contact all these dealers and check whether they can fit ur budget. cheers`

mine from 240 average b4 reserves drops to 200-180!!! :faint:

biggie and heavey! you not considering to chance yours? One of the singtrek riders using stock exhaust... think the signs are there oredi... that the bike can't handle a lot of high rpms...

simply coz i can't afford it :sweat: but so far the pipe not a hindrance to me. easily goes into the red zone if not careful... :angel: unless of course if i plan to break the 40s barrier like the Indons in the Asia GP. then i'd need a whole list of things. upgrade pipe must upgrade ecu must upgrade springs must upgrade brakepads must tune. :faint: then can go faster. take 1 component out of the upgrade and the bike is not balanced.

 

currently comfortably doing 46s on stock everything with alot more room for rider improvement and i'm only just starting to push it abit. it's tyres that i need more to keep going and constant 'feel' of the stock springs; almost highside at last turn on previous track day :cheeky:

 

i'm not trying to brag just stating the real potential of the bike. it's much more than what alot of people think it is :cheers:

Mine was always 180-190 den reserve since day 1. still trying to figure out how to clock higher.

Mine was 190-200 before install full sys, bmc air filter and PC 3...

 

Now between 180-190... Not much diff lah .. still tolerable...

GPR is nice n loud pipe. I like...

everybody wants the loudest pipe........ what will happen to the quietest ones? muahahahha

hi fellow R1 riders,

 

i'm a new r1 rider...

 

i realized that maybe it is a feasible idea that we can come up with a component list (just like the super 4 thread)...

 

i understand that we should be willing to pay when wear and tear occurs because we are riding a big bike and should afford it (the usual thinking)...

 

but there are times that we are really tight and can't afford to spend more or kena chop by bike shops... so can we come up with a component list?

 

just have to list what you did, how much and at which bike shop...

Don't worry. I more fierce.

 

My bike was stationary. I used my super knee strength to hold it up at that angle, then screamed for the photographer to shoot before I tipped over. :angel:
