im new in riding k5...

btw...i got few ques to ask...

-if the fork leaking,its because the bike accident b4?? or due to wear and tear...cos its onli 3yrs old bike...

-currently my volt its 14.91 wen engine its running...is it overcharge...??

cos i heard it shuld nt be more den 15...

but now its lyke veri near...wad shuld i do...??

 

i nid some help over hear...

hmmm...ware can i get accerssories for dis bike...?? ;p

 

- Fork leaking - Normal... K5/K6 1000 has this fork problem.. every 1 year or so, need to change.

-14.91.. you check your voltmeter wiring does it go to the headlight or any other source? It should be tapped from the ignition side (brown colour wire).

- what type of accessories you looking for. You can drop me a PM. I am thinking of selling mine accessories (maybe) :rolleyes:

Ya my friend is working in Seagate at Woodlands branch , been "forced" to take 3 days unpaid leave ... maybe twice a month and that cuts off about 25% of his monthly salary ... I'm in the shipping & logistics industry and the number of import / export cargo has drastic fall in volume ... banks are now conservative about approving loans , making entrepreneuring path a tough one ...

bout the video u mentioned earlier..

it refers to R1 04 & 05 model...

08 different Y pipe..

shop doing the removing of 04-05 model honey comb at $30 (K&T)

but for 07-08 model they say must burn open and wield one.. $130.. zzz....

got warranty gd for you....BTW...MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE BOTH FORK OIL...ITS BETTER....dnt let them(the shop mech) bluff...just becos i side leak..change only 1..

 

do both is to make sure the oil viscoscity is the same.

Guys need ur opinion on exhaust for R1 2009.. Akrapovic Hex Slip on + Titanium Ypipe @ $2700 or Leo Vince EvoII Slips + SS Ypipe @ $2300.. Thanx guys..

 

U got to ask those guys who dyno.

According to Ah siong, these 2 brands dun give much

different in bhp produced.

 

Thus it draws down to:-

- HOW FAT UR WALLET?

- WHICH DESIGN U PREFER? BOTH PIPES GOT DIFFERENT DESIGN.

Sigh .... so bored ...

So wat's is the rational of ur story? Stick to k7/k8 or change to k9....

hey maxbg, yeah saw dat video b4, the sound superb.. but its illegal in sg

road.. cant afford for fines.. i made up my mind to get the akras.. as the SBK Team Yamaha using it.. :cheeky: or mayb i shd tell Team Yamaha not to use akra as according to ah siong not much different in hp.. joking.. Dont so serious... Thanx guys..
