No more poles for driving test from March

SINGAPORE: From March next year, poles will not be used during the driving test.

 

The poles are used to help learner drivers park their cars.

 

The Traffic Police have alerted driving centres and instructors about the new requirement for those taking Class 3 and 4 practical tests.

 

Responding to media queries, a police spokesperson said the change is to enhance the standard of the driving tests as well as the competency level of the learner drivers.

 

The method of teaching and testing learner drivers to park their vehicles without poles is also practised in countries such as the UK and Australia.

what they need is bigger parking lots...even if ppl park properly...they dun know how to open their doors considerately and end up denting ur doors. garmen is always following others to improve things but not resolving issues at hand. only when sumthing happens....enforce enforce i hope i dun get banned for talking about garmen

any guys know what is required to do if i diy slip on exhaust that eliminates the catalyser. planning to mount M4 GP.

how shoud i isolate the wiring to the catalyser?

wiring to the catalyser is it exhaust valve? which is a cable connected from throttle ?

juz go check with u guys,, k7 600 is the batch where all timeing chain set got error is it?

Never heard of an issue with the timing chain error..

 

The only error that was heard of from K6 600/750 onwards was the SET Valve error..

i dun think u need to isolate anything as long as ur ypipe has o2 sensor bung. the m4 shud come with a set of o2 sensor plug as well. so u dun need to unscrew the plug from the stock catalyser. just unplug the coupler end and plugin the m4 coupler end. think shud be similar to icey's bike just that the 09 m4 gp is dual exhaust.

if no ypipe then the cat stays ba? no modify needed at all. or if m4 provides the o2 sensor just like the 07/08...then what's there to worry about the hole...just unclip the coupling end and clipon the coupler. unless u diy ur own ypipe then more mind work la. haha. if no bung need to poke poke the ecu liao.
