tat wat i heard frm my mech. even suzuki mech recommended to break in easy.

im sure we cant doubt suzuki mechs rite.

black n orange is :thumb:

wanted to get that too but no stock.

but k9 oso got wat, y get k8? n is it first hand?

ani wae, jus to share how i break in.

1st 500km below 5k rpm. change eo mineral (advise not to ride in the day)

1.5k km below 6k rpm change eo mineral

till u reach 3k den can change to wat eva u like n WACK! lol

i prefer to go slow on 1st 3k km. as new engine after all.

but the manual sae 1k km den can wack le.

gd luck!

the k8 n k9 black/orange is slightly different..

my k8 has some silver accents to it, in addition to the base colours of black/orange.

compared to the k9 which is totally black and orange.

as for the breaking in.. i dont ride everyday so if i were to break in the soft way, i think to hit 500, then 1.5k, then 3k, will take me 2 or more months before i can finish the break in process!

will probably give the dyno run-in a try..

how much can a 600 hit?

previously b4 i buy my bike.

when to view an r6.

the rider told me his 600 can hit 290 wit oni a full sys.

i wondering is that really possible.

My 08 R6 hit 270 in sg, still can go some more. will estimate the top spd to be about 280.

hallo guys, just placed my order for a gixxer!

:) :) :)

anyway i know there are different schools of thought on this topic, but shld i dyno run in, or soft run in??

i'm really confused man..

anyone here has any experience or advice to share??

jus do a hard run in on a gd clear sg rd... My GSR, R6 and k9 all did it this way.

have a comparison with my fren R6, i ride his n felt engine sloppy cos he did soft run in for his R6 same yr as mine. so its proven to me hard run in is better.

it's a sportsbike...if it cant take hard runs...then :faint:. LOL. some also do hard run ins...but not on dyno but on the track/road. it all depends on the individual. doesnt mean soft run in cannot cui after some years...what matters most is whether ur piston ring seals properly no matter it's hard or soft run ins. some might say depends on ur luck...if u do everything right but sh*t still happens then no luck i guess. :pity:

:thumb: yeah thats true!!

actually i think for an un-pro user like me, i might not even feel the difference between the soft/hard run in!

lol, 250km/hr on a fd2r a bit tough unless i mod alot. 240km/hr still achievable from what i reckon on my current mod. But it does need a long straight unbumpy road to do that. minus point of a FD2R, too bumpy laio. lol
