I have kept the switch on but removed the wire going to the ECU. Can't feel any difference, probably cos not on track. But definitely sets my mind at ease

 

Noticed harder to start bike like this. I think ECU does some fuel enrichment during start-up but as the pin is removed, it doesn't know to do so. Will use the start-up feature of PC5 to enrich fuel.

Changed the H9 to LED so that I can use the nice projector high beam more often. The light is soft and compliments the pole lights. Use more like day running light DRL.

Anybody using X-TRE? I'm running in 6th gear map and my Auto Tune shows that bike is running very rich in the lower gears. Thinking to disable the system.

Best is to call up and visit a few big bikes shop (BP, RM, EM, LM, HKL, etc), as well as browse forum sales. Take your time to compare but if you see one you like, don't wait too long.

Tried the STP fuel injector, quite pleased with the response....can feel slight responsiveness...

i used to use it on my k4. on e sec bottle, my reserve light is gone n dead. dunno got anything to do wit that anot. wont add any more addictives into my bike again. by adding it. the bike feels abit lighter but when u stop adding,it becomes normal, e effects doesnt last. so u have to keep buying n adding

Maybe they jumped ship / switched camp already. SuperBikes / SuperSports are very competitive. It's all about electronic aids now and gixxer falls short here. But I must say it is a really fun and good bike for me so far

gixxer is more of a rider skill bike. its all in ur wrist. its a gd bike. i rode mine for 4 yrs n totally prob free. faultless

Doesn't quite work as the pipe will not be registered to your bike.
