[ENQUIRY] Krabi Hotels

hey guys..

i'm planning a trip up to krabi this dec.

appreciate it if any of you that has gone to krabi provide me with the following details?

 

- Location of hotel (preferably at AoNang)

- cost

- parking of bikes and the safety

- which website to book

 

I wanted to book thru agoda.com

but most description did not say whether parking is available.

I tried to do a search in this forum but nothing came.

Krabi Town:

 

City hotel.

Night market is just downstairs and the main shopping area is all around. Sheltered parking available. Hotel is pretty old but still decent and clean enough if you are not fussy. Request for new building, at a slightly higher cost of course.

 

AoNang:

Ascott Hotel

AoNang Cosy Place

 

Both are small and decent place to sleep in. AoNang cosy place is better. They are just across each other alongside with the many others small hotels. Pavement parking just outside, but it's a very safe place after all. I only had a bike cover and disc brake lock.

 

 

No booking were made. But since you are travelling on a peak season and these small hotels have very limited rooms (maybe only 20?), better for you to book in advance. My friend did managed to make a booking with Aonang cosy place without any cost or CC.

ur doubt of parking safety for the hotel surrounding & quality of the staying condition will much be solved only if u arrived there in the morning giving u some time to canvas for it.

 

walk-in hotel rates r pretty decent, so many hotels/guest houses for u to choose & best of all u dun have to book online going thru 3rd party.

I've stayed at The Verandah before and its quite decent hotel.

Rooms with balcany view and 200m from the beach. Opposite Macdonalds.

Can use pool facilities at nearby Peace Laguna Resort. * Same owner bah.

Can park directly outside the Hotel lobby or at secured carpark of Peace Laguna.

Quite near to The Verandah too.
