It's so quiet here so let me make some noise!

--- let's talk about some of e BEST mod 1 have ever done to their bike ---

My best mod ever was when i de-catted my bike! Despite running on stock exhaust still,e difference felt was amazing!

1)Fatter torque curve throughout e rev range hence more punchy!

2)Overall smoother engine feel

3)Every gear feels taller than usual

4)Lesser mechanical sound upon deceleration

5)Engine runs cooler...

6)F/C under observation still.

The ONE & only disadvantage is that e engine braking felt harsher than usual. That's all.

Now where in e world can u get so many advantages by doing a simple & reasonably priced mod??This is my best mod.Cheers!

Hi guys, The tiger 800 looks good.

I am wondering how it compares against the vstrom 650 2012?

Is it costly to own a triumph compared to a jap bike?

What about reliability and ability to be serviced overseas?

Also, do you guys have a facebook page?

Thanks for your help!

Honestly, it's e same like owning a Japanese bike other than e valve checks/adjustment/clearance IF need be every 20,000km. I've covered more than 60,000km in less than 18 months without any major problems. My bike is for daily commute, tour & scratch and it has been serving me well. Personally for me, I'm addicted to e triple engine, e fruity exhaust note and e economical F/C. e 19 liters tank can easily cover a distance of 200km-280km on NSH before refueling. For SG, it's averaging 21km/l in stock trim. There's an FB page dedicated for our Tiger800/Explorer owners as well...
