Hi

I just bought a secondhand kr from sgbikes forum and the previous owner uses Mobil 2t

oil. Is it ok if I just change to a, say, Motul 710 2T oil? I mean will it harm the engine if I

just top up using motul 710 on the bike which still have some Mobil 2t oil in it?

Also, What's the difference between a Racing 2t oil and normal 2t oil?

Any kind bros out there pls advice on this, thanks

Try not to mix. Wait for your 2T oil light to lit up then you pour lor.. Motul 710 2T is ester based, may not mix well with non-ester based 2T.

DONT DO THAT!

dont trust your 2t oil light to light up when it needs to. 2stroke bike relies heavily on 2t oil to lubricate the piston .

else you will end up like me having a piston jam which will requires top overhaul or even worst, FULL overhaul which can comes up to 600-700+

for me, initially i was using AGIP fully-syn then i changed to motul 710.

i just mix them lah. dont feel any worse when i mix them but if you dont feel comfy about it. just bring to your mech and change the whole 2t oil inside lo

better this way than to do a top overhaul which cost 200-300.
