This is the bike I really like to get after my Class 2. BUT that is some 2 years later.

Anyway, I have not seen the bike on Singapore roads, so anyone knows someone who owns it / has owned it before? Can get them to give a short review of the bike?

Basically very nice bike. This bike has got 2 version... first one is as shown below SV650S.. the other version has no head couling and use a single round head light. Like a Bandit or S4... SV650

Must be good bike!!!! Even Jedi Master also cannot keep up!!!!! :bouncefire:

Anyway, on a personal note this is a SUPER bike! One of the best selling 600's in US and Europe. :thumb:

The engine is established and used in several other models (can't rem off the top of my head).

Only one BIG PROBLEM with this bike! Fuel tank only 16ltrs!!!!!! :nono: :weep:

One last note is that there are also 400cc versions of this bike in Sg too!!! Looks totally the same !!!!! If anyone wants one, my friend is selling.

No no no :nono: . Not lower fairings, if u happen to stop next to a TP bike, look carefully at the SIDES of the head fairing. U will notice 1 of the small angular side fairings. This makes ur Divvy look more angular when u look in front of the bike, normally the sides is straight 1.

Are these bikes in S'pore yet?

The original SV650 was a work of art. The latest one, well, takes some getting used to. But it does appear beautiful after a while. Puportedly the cheapest V-twin sportsbike you can buy (Duc Monster 600s are too sh!tty to be even considered as an option). I dunno how cheap this baby is when it arrives on this side of the globe.

The new model gets EFI plus GSXR750's butterfly collection (SDTV), but retains the same old engine. 65+hp at the crank, I heard. Not much but the torque kicks off right off idle. Amazing.

Seen a few exhaust manufacturer websites that make hi-mount twin exhaust mods for these bikes - BLOODY BEAUTIFUL! And the throbby roar on those sound files.. ohhhh... pure orgasm... (who needs a TL1000?).

i've got a friend who's been riding this bike for a yr plus liao... it's one of the cheapest class2 bike availiable... looks real cool and he installed the full fairing for it.. (looks even nicer) apparantly 1 bad point of the bike is that it's pretty hard to tune the engine... my friend has always complained but that... coz he frequent guan hoe and even the distributor them self has probs tuning it... coz bout 14k for a first hand... handling pretty alrite cept that too much torque causes the rear wheel to jump alittle when u pull ur throttle when cornering... hearrd it's common in v2 engine bikes... all in all it's a prettynifty machine if u dun mind the little top end (200km/hr) it produces... tends to perform better at night... dun ask me why...
