I don't know man. I got it from Bob's BMW website - advertising AirFlow II jacket. Instead, the RT caught my attention.

Spy news : More people are spraying their bike to yellow as 1 member in SBF forum had proven that Yellow bike can perform better, faster and kup corners lower than bike with any colour. But many didn't know that bike without PIAA lights won't work.

I changed my RT's headlight bulb to PIAA H-4 55W Platinum Super White Halogen Bulb recently. I hope you are not referring to HID instead. For me, the PIAA bulb is brighter than my original bulb. When it's pitch dark (like on NS-highway), you can see the difference.

Legal Issue? No issue. I just passed my inspection last week.

But if you are talking abt HID, then I have no comments coz I got no experience.

Hi dude,

Not for me. I still prefer the conventional bulbs unless u install Ballast. Reason being, it's still clearer esp at night as compared to white light. :smile: White light will seem brighter becos it's white. But coventional yellow is clearer for the eyes. IMHO. :goodluck:

Maybe u can try Philips Blue vision just to try out. I think it costs about $50 if I can remember correctly from car accessories shop.

Hmm..maybe for me, my old bulb is really...'old' already. That's why I see the difference? :confused:

Suzu commented before that my headlamp wasn't very bright.

Anyway, I'm using this:

Got it for US$39.95 from SierraBMW.com

If you look at the light from the front, can see that it's slightly bluish. I dunno whether is there a reason for that, instead of just pure white.

Takes abt 3-4 weeks.

From the manual, as long as I use any bulb that has these wattage, I'm fine:

Input = 55W

Output=110W

The PIAA bulbs that I ordered matches this. So, shouldn't have any problem.

I also confirmed it with the parts manager at Sierra before ordering.

I dunno abt yours, u got to check ur manual for ur bike.
