Brake pad, can go motoworld to change SBS.. not costly and braking power is there.

Went to PML to collect some parts yesterday. Bike business seems alive and well, plenty of bikes parked for collection by owners. Saw a R1200GS owner happily collecting his bike.

 

I must say that PML's prices are parts nowadays seem quite decent; slightly over the prices listed in the US but frankly I'll pay more to get the parts here, at least anything wrong can be rectified in person. The place still oozes swank; free pantry got cake some more.

Probably the crowd is due to the recall of certain bikes because of the chain and sprocket thingy. Just did the change at PML and collected my bike. there's quite a few bikes compare to other days.

 

Actually for me, I dun mind paying abit more at PML than other normal bike shops so long as I can get gd service n also for that peace of mind. Frankly not many bike shop keeps ur service records and calls you personally for the recall. But as long as the cost is not absurd I'm can still live with it.

hi beemers...a few answers needed....im riding the gs1150...and recently i hurt my wrist and i no longer park the bike on mainstand....will it cause any problems parking it on side stand? thanks....

hey bro,if you want to ensure that oil has gone to both cylinder head,just sit on bike upright for a few seconds before starting the engine.:angel:

Guys,bought a second hand gs,modified the handle bar,front n rear suspension.Since its my first BMW.(was riding the MV,RSV).Is there anything i should know regarding the riding style,like engaging gears,half clutchIMG_0064.jpg.:thumb

Saw a shop at Peninsula Shopping Center (the one next to Excelsior Hotel)... there is a shop in the basement selling BMW R1200GS Adventure model amongst other bikes there at SGD 14++

 

You guys can take a look there.

You just need to tell them what you need, your bike model, year and they will do the rest. You can save a bit ii f you replace the damaged parts separately.

 

I understand that there is an expedited delivery service too.
