Some of the features on the bike which u saw at Loois might be an optional feature at PML where u will need to top up an amount to get them. The radio for e.g i guess is already with the bike like RT model. But other than tat im not pretty sure. (havent seen how the 16GT in form yet)

As far as i know parallel importer like Loois take in full acc with BMW and tats y the price is higher. Prices for PI is usually lower to attract customers. How low depends on that particular shop.

 

But hey.. I might be wrong too. The 16 GT is indeed a killer!

 

Then like tat`s might as well take the parallel importer with all the gadget install. I already check with Lee from looi`s 56k is otr will all install. Only u cant do servicing at PML after it. just prepare 5k if u need to scvs at PML lol...

 

 

 

I now still consider which to take K1600GTL, K1300GT, RT1200, GS1200 Adventure....Anybody out there selling any 1 of this bike im looking into it.. cheers

Yah man tats the problem the 5K lol!! If u ask me its best tat u can hands on if u buy from a PI.

But Mr Lee did also mention his place also has the tools and computer specially to work on the bike.

like tat if the bike got problem is ok he have the tools cause nowadays all using computer to rectify the fault.

Hi everyone,

 

I know this has been discussed quite a while back but may I know if we can still get Yuasa 51913 or Panasonic LC-X1220P for our R1150RTs here locally? Pls advice on the supplier and if possible the selling price.

 

BTW, I am also looking at the jumper extension for my ride since it does not come with one. Does anyone has experience in this before or do you custom fabricate one for emergency? Appreciate for the help. Thanks!

bro the $50,800 GTL from PML comes with full specs..one of my touring kakis is actually the 1st person to collect his from PML last week..yup it is nice, i was there to witness it being uncrate at PML when my friend insist he uncrate his GTL

Wow tats my dream when owning a dream bike. To uncrate it straight off the crate. Like delivering a new baby.. Congrats to ur fren who just bought an awesome monster. Would love to do a test ride at PML. Too bad woke up late during the bbq session

i think mr lee has factor in the cost of computers and equipment his shop needs to maintain BMW bikes into the price of his PI BMWs

 

If not, then its PML cutting their prices low to kill any competitors

But, does Looi's really have the machine?

 

I had a bad experience with them regarding BMW PI bike.

 

everytime want to go diagnostic, machine not ready. person in charge not here was the standard reply.

 

if am not wrong, they bought the machine from a closed down workshop from EU. And as the machine is in german, no one can understand them. And the software in the machine is donkey's age.

 

So, if anyone wants to buy a BMW bike, i will tell them the ask PML first.

 

and PI bikes, even if "brand new". have to go for the inspection in the first year.

 

just my 2 cents useless rant.

I went to 219 at Lavender Street. It's a funny thing. I wanted to do a Snoopy design and the lady there says must check with boss. Boss came out, look at the design and say, this one cannot, got copyright. I looked around the whole shop ... BMW, Suzuki, Yamaha, No Fear ....

IMO, if there is not much of price difference should just go for agent bike.

10k difference should be the benchmark for PI BMW bikes,, otherwise it cannot be justified.

 

10K is justified.

considering 5K u put into PML for the "membership" price.

After my bro's incident at looi's, i really doubt the "machine".

but some swear by BMW bikes from looi's though.

Only take a few letters to Germany HQ, PML will get it.

They should not outcase the BMW local owners for joining in the BMW activities.

I also doubt Looi's they can please the PI BMW owners unless they are running on the older models, 1200 and below.

Time will tell, if they can make it is good for them.

Those guys can continue to swear, once cannot do it just sell away ... continue the swearing.

Whatever it is, don't do it blindy, do your homework.

 

 

 

nowadays Looi`s is bring all the new model BMW include K1600GTL and i saw 5 Brand new GS800 and all label SOLD if they dare to bring in new models make sure they have the system to rectify the fault infuture, if not prepare 5k deposit to PML..

Hi everyone, I need advice for low seat since I intend to get the 1200gs adv early next

year. My toes can reach the ground on GS but I can only guess i can will be dangerously tip toeing on only one leg on a GS adv.

 

I'm looking at Touratech Comfortable, high end seat silver extra low R1200GS

Kahedo Line (055-1526) which will cost me including shipping SGD$523.24

Height 48 cm measured from the (original) footrest (removable foot rest rubbers not included) vertically to the lowest point of the seat.

 

Anyone have experience with this item?

Dexing...wooooh i dont trust this small dealer. They only know how to import and settle the bike problem... emmm i dont think so.
