Hmmm, interesting.

I did a few more tests and the findings are as follow:

After the bike has been rested for 1~2 days, during the first start up, the idling speed will hunting up and down.

Cut off the engine using the kill switch will not stabilize the idling speed.

However, if I switch off the bike by turning the key to off position and restart the bike, the idling speed will stable at slightly above 1k rpm. No more fluctuation afterwards.

During riding, sometimes the bike will stall during the first 5-10mins (clutched in and the engine stalled.)

After continued riding for awhile, this issue will disappear. No more stalling afterwards.

Quite headache.

Saw on adv rider it could be TPS messing up abit. Happened on my f8 2013 twice but no biggie:

1) turn off key

2) turn on key, let it run diagnostic

3) twist throttle to full open for 5 secs

4) close throttle to full close for 5 secs

5) repeat steps 3 and 4 at least 4 more times

6) wait 5 secs and turn key off

7) turn key on, start engine and problem solved

Apparently this method resets the TPS and solve the problem. Not too sure of the root cause but it works.

Haha part and parcel of riding I guess haha. Anyway the voltmeter, can DIY actually, just hook it up to the 12V socket connector. That works for me.

Yeah.. It's well built and very comfortable for riding. Anyway it's cheaper getting it here than online after shipping cost. Recommended if you have the extra cash..;)

Anyone using Bell revolver helmet?

Motorwerk carry this brand, seems not bad.

I'm considering this helmet or Nolan N104 Evo.

Changed mine at Unique Motorsports at Kaki Bukit. They are familiar with TPS, so no problem. Moreover, way cheaper than PML.

Thanks for the reply. A bit turned off by Unique recently. Told me there is stock, so I went all the way to Kaki Bukit (where the stock is) from Jurong but was told reserved by someone a few days before. Sigh.

I guess forgive and forget?
