You know what's the best thing to do? Just follow the law. Ride safe, don't anyhow cut between cars for no reason unless there's an a**hole tailgating you and most importantly, don't speed. Sometimes it is a bit ridiculous to follow some of the indicated speed along some roads (e.g. 50km/h on most roads) but then again, don't go too fast. Just a moderate and reasonable speed will do.

If you maintain the basic discipline on road, I'm sure even if there are 20 TP patrol bikes behind you, you wouldn't have to worry so much cos you have done nothing wrong (unless you have illegal mods on your beast that the TP just can't take their eyes of then all the best!)

PREPARING TO RIDE

1. Wear the right gear.

2. Become familiar with the motorcycle.

3. Check the motorcycle equipment.

4. Be a responsible rider.

KNOW YOUR MOTORCYCLE

• Read the owner’s manual first.

•Start with the right motorcycle foryou.

•Be familiar with the motorcycle controls.

•Check the motorcycle before every ride.

•Keep it in safe riding condition between rides.

•Avoid add-ons and modificationsthat make your motorcycle harder to handle.

RIDE WITHIN YOUR ABILITIES

- “Following too closely” could be a factor in crashes involving motorcyclists.

- Speeding up to lose someone following too closely only ends up with someone tailgating you at a higher speed.

- Good experienced riders remain aware of what is going on around them.

- The best way to help others see your motorcycle is to keep the headlight on — at all times

GROUP RIDING

- Do it in a way that promotes safety and doesn’t interfere with the flow of traffic.

- Place inexperienced riders just behind the leader. That way the more experienced riders can watch them from the back.

- Plan frequent stops on long rides.

- Maintain close ranks but at the same time keep a safe distance to allow each rider in the group time and space to react to hazards.

- Never ride directly alongside another rider. There is no place to go if you have to avoid a car or something on theroad. To talk, wait until you are both stopped.

- Staggered Formation — This is the best way to keep ranks close yet maintain an adequate space.

Actually come to think about it, NYP quite nice, dedicated bike lots with camera (Not sure if useful though)

Happened to read in the newspapers couple of days back some tertiary institutes actually charge even bikes for parking.

Although the nearest car park for us is behind the schools, and park at general bike lots a bit far, but still, at least its ample and generally open enough...

The only gripe I have is still the sharp turn, after I go back school, plan to go take some measurements and then write a formal proposal to change it into a small slip way instead of sharp turn. grrrrrrr ride so long so safely liao, don't want last 3 months there then anything go wrong =P

"Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats, calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace." Isaiah 11:6-8

SP free parking also:)

er TP got gantry cannot siam one lol

RP also need to pay

NP nt sure so far dun have a gf from there yet :p

oh yea that turn ah ok la. not say super sharp cos quite unlikely u will hit someone coming out but more likely u will get hit by someone from behind cos of the slowing down/braking motion. since most drivers dunno there got entrance for bikes then may not be able to react in time if they follow too closely.

actually i more concern abt AFTER turning in, where aft that ridiculous hump( which doesnt stop/slow my bike), there's this freaking narrow spacing ( probably shared by both riders exiting and entering.... Thats a freaking potential hazard even tho there's a stop line for riders entering, who seriously stop at the white lines.... how many stop before the lines and how many stop aft the lines or perhaps didnt even stop. shldnt let it remain as a converging road ( for bikes coming in and going out to share the same road...)

my pov is its just a matter of time before an accident like the one at ssdc happen before the guys at nyp will take action saying sth like perhaps all along no issues so they didnt notice kind of excuse.

There's so many p plates or beginners like me who recently got their torque-full bike, at least make the road in sch less of a technical challenge 'd be a good idea, no? its a freakin 90 degs turn right aft that hump.

why not? save up for a bigger downpayment then mthly installments wont that shiong. :) and yes true 300 per mth is exclusive of tyres replacement, EO,oil filter and whatever maintenance that comes with it.

adamant: next year aft jan, once my inspection cleared. i thinking of purchasing the SSW/MRD exhaust for road use :p Dave, the guy who hand weld the pipes, said he can make me just the midpipe + header (since the original fs - muffler is welded to midpipe). 300 + 80 shipping fee convert to SGD + 7%gst ard 500+

wanna join me :p i think its a better option than powerbomb header or purchasing the expensive yoshi.

other alternative left is importing TRS/TRC midpipe + header :p
