Wow 23K and 27.5K is a big difference, even if you add in COE at 1.8K.

 

Assuming this is how they calculate -

Machine: 23K / 24.6K with GST

COE: 1.8K

Insurance TPFT: $700

Misc (IU, Road Tax): 300

Total: $27+K

 

Just a rough calculation for OTR price through. Maybe someone experienced can advise.

Save more than 2K from agent price.

 

Yes, the Warranty will be from the shop and any Technical upgrade/recall will be through the shop.

Anyway Evershine Kawasaki agent warranty if it's the same like my Versys is only 4 mths or 4000km whichever comes first... so no big deal to me.

I know they're both different bikes, but how does it feel on the z1000 after rding the r6? I'm also coming from an R6, and seriously considering getting a z1000.

 

My main concern, if it is has hot as the r6 in normal traffic, and power delivery. You've got o rev the r6 hard to get its torque to kick in.

U can tahan the heat from an R6, don't think it's an issue on a Z1000.its naked. Anyway I don't have any heat issues on my R6. Just change coolant regularly. Power wise. I still love my R6 power delivery.

Love the z1000 esp the green/black ones. Any issues with the bike so far. Other than at Looi's i've never had a chance to

see any on the road Whats the top speed for this bike? Interested in this bike but cant seem to find any 2nd hand ones

any of u guyys care to share OEM parts availability for ur ride? u guys can depend on our nevershine or u guys go skudai motomatic etc for parts? Im really thinking of getting the z800 which is coming to Loois mid month.

 

Id be riding it daily as a commuter, not concern of the mileage more of spare parts availability. Issit super leceh? I heard stories abt the agent that is not nice to hear so im on the edge, thanks much. and wat abt aftermarket exhaust? any st legal here spore? coz the Z is not as common here and well supported as in Msia.

Hi guys, I ride a 2005 Z1000. Recently when my bike hit 45000km, I did valve clearance, timing chain & chain tensioner replacement. I also did engine oil change, spark plugs, oil filter and I flushed the radiator and decided to EngineIce.

 

After I collected the bike, the power and response was fantastic but I noticed the engine temp was higher than usual. Before I did my service, the radiator fan would come on at 100 degrees celsius and the highest I ever saw was 103 degrees celsius.

 

Now when I'm riding at low speed in carparks or in jams during hot weather, it goes up to 110 degrees and the fan only comes on after a prolonged time. One time during a really scorching afternoon, I was in crawling traffic at the checkpoint for a while and saw 110 degrees yet again then I decided to kill the engine and saw the temp. show a blinking 116 degrees. Shortly after I turned on the engine and it dropped to 108 degrees as the fan turned on. What could be the problem? Thanks!
