If u happen to had already washed it and lubed it but still get that *zZzzzACK* *ZaaaCK* sound while goin thru tunnels or near walls. Then high chance your sprocket has been warped. Try jacking up your rear wheel, and rotate it. Check out the tension of your chain. At a certain point it would be real taught and another point very loose. Time to change the set liao.

Should be your wheel bearing gone liao. Remember wheel bearing gone will have difficulty moving at low speed and create a hissing sound.

since it near the chain side should be the chain side wheel bearing gone

bro vtec_craze,

I think you can sort of "test" it out...

You can go bike shop to tighten your chain...

If very soon, say 1 week, you chain loose again, then you might consider to change your chain already...

Hi Epredator,

I think if your sprocket teeth becomes sharpened, then you change because when sharpened the chain will "jump" out... It should be trapezium in shape...

Thanks for your advise....:thumb:

Getting only the chain replace is like an incomplete job done.o_O

well if you're on a tight budget then what to do?

i think mostly chain + sprocket will cost around 200 and above...

the cheapest i think is around 180 - 200+ not more than 240 i think...

don't say about those shops that chop people...

but then again... you rather spend a bit more to protect your life? or stingy abit to take away your life? you have the choice =)
