hie guys.. jus askin.. hw much does a new vara125 cost? otr onli. tinkin of gettin one as i will be keepin it for like 3-4 yrs before sellin it off.. or might not even sell it. read lotsa comments bt tis bike.. exp la tis la tat la.. bt nevertheless i made up my mind to buy tis bike.. juz sourcing around if any1 of u know d price.. coz im busy werkin havent had enuf time to reali go down to shops n source d price. thanks in advance..

Bro....there are many shops around...if you got a bit of extra cash...might go to boon siew...meet shafiee....i recommend you....my old fren lah...if you got no time....juz pm me....i will refer you to him...can get extra gadgets...ehehehh.....price...can expect around $11k otr....but whatever it is...take your time...go around...and get the best deal that you are comfortable with....Good Luck!

Something to share with you guyz....Something what i learned today....

 

Have you guyz ever wonder when you buy engine oil what does 15W / 40 means...they always printed on the bottle....

 

15W => Thickness or viscosity of the engine oil which will act as lubricant...or in simple terms...how fast or slow you want your engine oil to flow...higher the grade...slower its flow rate...this factor will enchance its ability lubrication and to prevent wear and tear...different engine requires different thickness...our bike usually...grade between 10W till 20W is advisable....

 

40 = > This refer to ability to expand....as we use our bike every day...there will always be wear and tear...this wear and tear will "chiselled" a small amount of metal fillings away from any metal surface that comes in contact with the piston...thus over time..it will create a gap and a bigger gap between the piston and casing...therefore...when an engine oil expands...it can helps to cover this gaps and also minimize the wear and tear....usually...vehicles that are more than 10 years...mechanics usually will use grade 50....

 

Final say...if your bike is less than 10 years....for example...15W / 40 is advisable..if your bike more than 10 years....15W / 50 is recommended...for indication...if your bike...tend to produce white smoke...1 of many possibilities is that...the engine is burning engine oil not petrol...the engine oil lose its ability to cover the gap...thus, the engine oil will be spilled into the combustion chamber....so it is time to change your engine oil grade to 50...after change...it still produce white smoke...it is time to send your bike to workshop....ehehehehhe....this is also applicable for cars too...

 

Rationale behind engine oil change is that....for example...for every 5000km...u change engine oil...this is because...over time...your engine oil will lose its enzymes which is the ability to lubricate your parts....without these enzymes...so engine oil is good for nothing....ehehehhe....

 

maybe next time...i share with you guyz...regarding mineral oil...it is very interesting...ehehehhehe.....

our bike average consumption is +/- 16km/L....depends on hows ur riding style n habbit....
