Hi there, I'd like to suggest for you to drop by Looi's Motor.There's a 400c Transalp-FM plate available. It was recently sprayed in Black. Best of Luck!!

yeeesssh, read d trips u guys had gone. i was considering d vara125 but always having 2nd thoughts abt it cos of the top spd. i got 2a but unfortunately theres NO 400cc enduro bikes out there other den the transalp 400 which is so freaking rare to find. d top speed is always my concern. riding my pulsar 180 up n down malaysia at 113km/h at rpm 8000 is really freaking tiring. wanted to be patient n wait for next year june for my class 2. however, i need to think this through:

 

a) class 2 bike is freaking expensive.

b) expensive in maintanence olso.

 

theres vara125, terra/adventure 125 on my hit list. i dunno which one to pic.

ive always wanted vara125 or terra adventure 125. its always the top speed dat always be on my main concern. has anyone ever made vara 125 crusing speed around 120-130km/h with lower rpm? if so plsee share!!!

Haha! Yup. I remember! Its difficult to see any Vara on the rd these days, especially one in JB!

 

Anyways, yea, the $$ was arnd that range when i asked almost a yr ago.

I dnt think anyone selling it 2nd hand tho..with the bracket n all, the owner may probably sell it off along with the bike.

 

Try ask for Ah Seng frm 1st moto..He may hve contacts in JB, mayB if u fabricate ova there it mite B cheaper? Or mayB find other alternatives?

 

So, almost a yr riding..enjoy ur bike so far?:p

There's a few available on the SBF bike sales thread. For used Varas, the price depends on the bike , whether owner is selling with/without accessories.

 

The ones available at Loois,stock ones,was recently told around $4k++,not sure whether its machine price or OTR price.

 

Try calling or drop by Loois. Good Luck!

Bro, u might wanna check it out with the shop for clearer details.

Some advice, if u buy the bike from forum usually u'll get accessories with it and also advice on the performance on the bike by previous owner.

If u'd buy it from a shop like me, the condition of the bike is a big question mark. There will be problems that u will have to rectify which means $$$. Not only that, u'll have to source out on the accessories urself.

Just my 2 cents....

i love varadero, but the bike is wayy too expensive for me seh =(

1st hand avg about 10k odd right.ouch..

 

get second hand de loh... cheap and heavily equipped. Ready for battle any time!!! :angel:
