Guys, I am Calvin here...

Just got myself vara 125 XL 2001...

Any bros here did any changes in their vara to improve the bike's throttle response ?

I find that vara's throttle response is not very good...

What can I do or and mech/ workshop to intro?

 

the vara125 has a high rev engine, so u need to throttle more for substantial pickup..abt 5-6k rpm while moving off

Not sure if anyone recognizes this bike, it was for sale a long time ago, but the red/black makes it one of the prettiest Varaderos I have seen.

U can ask byma how come her vara125 ALWAYS moves off faster than anyone of us...and we still cant catch up...LOL *winks*

Aiyah.. Just try service the carb cleanclean see the dunno Wat pin need to change or not. Lol

Mine used to be like Tat buy after I service the carb and I think the mech say the dunno what pin need to change then all is running fine. Cost me about $75-80 and half a day if I didn't remember wrongly.

I think my varadero is the most beautiful and her name is veradia. Teeeeheeee :)

 

Anyway, fatt tried catching her yest still at pie. But nooo couldnt. Instead chose to chill with the vara with two side boxes. Hahahaha

Waah Seeey.. Seriously I have done nuthing to the bike for the past 3 years i have been riding it.:) Its been a year since i last changed my spark plug. I have NEVER gotten my carb cleaned. :) . Didnt know that it should be done. o_O . Like what i have mentioned before, my bike is without an Air Filter. :) . and maybe the phobia/fear of following the wrong bike and getting lost ... therefore i whack the throttle to keep up with Dato'... :)

:) Since I was held up at the traffic junction due to the detour, you managed to catch up :). And We found an alternative route to get back to Bukit Panjang :)

My 2 cents wroth is...you might want to send your bike for a check and Crab service as V-twin got 2 butterfly...it might be one V is higher then another....must balance....then bike got power...this one last time my mech. told me....@ K&T.
