Hi all, me new vara rider here..(125XL_Year:2001)

im facing a lot of wobble/ shaky feeling in low speeds in my vara. specially at low speeds. (reaching or after traffic lights this is so unsafe)

this get worst,when ride with a pillion.

 

tried on below

cone-bearing changed.

wheel bearing changed.

both tires changed.

but problem still exists

 

if anyone faced same before.any possible reason could be causing this?

ur advice would be really appreciated.

Add on: could this be due to suspension issue.? that's the only thing to suspect now...

Somethings u may wan check is ur brake pads and brake disk....maybe uneven wearing of the pads or disk..if not maybe the tires...the forks could be a problem too

Hi fatt86: thanks yeah i've already started loving my Vara now, even jst riding only for a few weeks.

yeah my mechanic said about the brake pads too..i better get it checked it seems. as i have alrdy changed tires..if it's forks issue it would be bit costly i guess. thnx..

Cleared my class 2 last week.

Thanks. It is stricter these days cos I think all test groups are limited to 25 per day, hence testers have more time to scrutinise each candidate... I did a review of my 5 Dec test which may be useful reference for Class 2/2A learners.

Hey vara bros! I'm interested in moving on to touring bikes since i'm like 90% on the expressways. Cruising my xr at 90km/hr causes vibration that numbs my ass. Read thru the forum and it seems vara due to its weight has no problem crusing at 90 or 100 comfortably w/o vibration. Thats great! No a speed addict so 120 km/hr max is acceptable.

 

However my question is no one seems to mention on FC and spare parts availability.

 

Read another forum and it says the FC is abt 30km/hr. Anyone can confirm this?

 

Hows the spare parts & maintainence? Is it easy to get spares or do i need to order and wait for days. How often do u change eo and spark plugs?

 

If it suits me well, may consider getting bro saddiq's bike if its still available. =)
