Hey vara bros! I'm interested in moving on to touring bikes since i'm like 90% on the expressways. Cruising my xr at 90km/hr causes vibration that numbs my ass. Read thru the forum and it seems vara due to its weight has no problem crusing at 90 or 100 comfortably w/o vibration. Thats great! No a speed addict so 120 km/hr max is acceptable.

 

However my question is no one seems to mention on FC and spare parts availability.

 

Read another forum and it says the FC is abt 30km/hr. Anyone can confirm this?

 

Hows the spare parts & maintainence? Is it easy to get spares or do i need to order and wait for days. How often do u change eo and spark plugs?

 

If it suits me well, may consider getting bro saddiq's bike if its still available. =)

 

Hey there..well me new vara rider too..as per ma experience maximum arnd 100 km/hr. but heard some do above that.:)

yes Vara weight abt 150kg and comfortable ride it is... and FC arnd ~ 25km to 27km for me.i dont think u can hit 30km bro.

as i know parts are bit ex for this compare to those common bikes...

lastly..as i heard Saddiq's bike is already reserved for someone..:) confirm with him again.

Anyone tried trimming the sides of the Ermax tall windshield? is it easy to cut if using the machine to cut acrylic??? thanks....

Hi,

 

Just got a Black 02 Vara 125. Will post up some pics when I've cleaned it up. Just splashed >$400 for a major service today (Steel braided lines, Brake flush, coolant flush, Oil Change, Spark Plugs, Fork seals + Oil, Carb cleaning, etc).

 

Good thing is the bike already comes with some tasteful addons (high windshield, Crash bar, cowl, tank bra, Mirrors, New Tires, K&N filter)

 

Am looking for the below, if anyone is selling, please sms me at 90093086. Have cash and ready for immediate deal. Thank you!

 

1. LTA Compliant exhaust with cert, can swap with my stock exhaust

2. Givi V35 monokey or Kappa K33 sidebags with Vara racks
