Sorry, you guys meant my bike used to be a former member's bike?

 

Anyway, anyone knows where I can get the black trimming around the windshield?

 

And does anyone have any experience with saddle bags?

Anyone have any special preference for a particular brand/model of tires??? Hope everyone could share their views and preference over certain brands/model of tires....so far I heard and seen vara125s with Michelin Siracs, Dunlop Arrowmax GT501( on certis Cisco bikes), Pirelli scorpions and scorpion trails, metzeler lastec. Would appreciate if everyone can share their opinions on their tires, especially if u r using brands other than these, and where to get them.

I use Pirelli Scorpion for my Terra. I'd say it works so well... esp in wet weather. The first week of changing, I was riding in the heaviest rain I'd ever seen, and the road grip felt even better than during dry conditions. The cornering was really good and I never felt insecure.

 

1yr+ on... and both tyres still grip well.

 

The Vara is on Metz from previous owner. My friend who rode up to Sepang on the Vara also said the grip was superb. He could really corner... so I suppose that speaks volume?

I saw ah bay's old vara! It's nothing like the past..

 

If i'm not wrong an ang moh is riding it now, seen it along bukit timah road once. Lots of accessories removed :(

 

You still go for TP session with your "new" bike? whahaha

 

Woah! Long time no see you come in here already bro! Hahahaha. Yea, i still go for top ups once in a while with them. But they have yet to see my wave lahh.. Anyway i should be getting the twin monster soon! :D

Hi fatt,i've been using 'Pirelli scorpion trial' for about 2 months now and so far ok. but felt little slippery a few time.(surprisingly in total dry conditions). Wet conditions it performed better than dry as i experienced so far.

cornering is much better than my previous Michelin tyres for sure.

The Trail is the newer version, if I am not wrong. I know mine is the older one, so it should be the Scorpion.

Will have to go down later to verify...

 

In any case, for my Derbi Terra, it is 190 front and 200 back (cos no pillion). Bike manual says 210 if pillion.

Not sure if the same applies to the Vara125 though.

:: a NAKED B*I*K*E must be LOW-SLUNG , NARROW , FOWARD LEANING , FRONT SECTION must b HEAVY for easy SHIFTING ::

Sadly can't get the front tire for the vara....so only change the rear to "scorpion trail" and continue using "Scorpion mt90" during my last tire change. Anyone got lobang for front can drop me a SMS or whatsapp 93824728

WTB exhaust for Vara 125. Is anyone selling theirs? If it is legal, I can swap my stock exhaust.

 

Am interested in the "non compliant" system too.

 

Any place to recommend for customised exhaust? thanks!
