Sounds reasonable for me personally, what about the spray? Or did you decided to get new parts to replace the damaged ones you have currently? Do let us know about the price of the parts if you decided to replace them?

My posts are based on peaceful discussion, honest questions happy jokes. If for any personal reason u find my post not suiting your ego, scrolling and clicking is always faster than typing. Not hearing my retorts to your rude remarks only means I have confirmed that your upbringing is that of barbarians.

Parts were cheap.

Bringing them to the workshop to change wasn't :/

What he did was

1) got me new handle bar as mine was bent

2) change side mirrors

3) change side stand

$80 for the workshop.

I intend to change the exhaust cover, got quotation that it costs $20.

For tank, still deciding if I should just put a tank bra over it for the time being.

Thanks for the info, ouch for the bent handle bar. I would prefer the tank bra, or if do not mind having something bigger, get a tank bag, you can put a GPS for reference if you are lost. Hmm.....to a certain extent having the workshop repair always comes with a price, no choice on this one. If you are able to get your exhaust cover and tank cover cheaper without having them help you change it would be better though.

So much problems for the week 😒

My fuel indicator is showing full tank but it's blinking repeatedly.

Showing all 6 bars but blinking the entire time.

Anyone has this problem?

Edit

Have taken a look below and noticed a broken wire.

I do not have this problem except that the fuel indicator for me is always inaccurate, no matter how full I pump, the 6 bar will only be shown just after finishing topping up, once you move off, the fuel indicator will drop to 5 bars. Fuel indicator will show the tank empty but when you open up, there is still quite a lot of petrol in it, not sure if this is a factory problem.

I guess the sensor is faulty or sth, workshop quoted me $40+ to change sensor.

My bike started having this weird symptom this few days, every time I try to start the bike with ignition after turning the key off and on again, the 1st ignition try comes with no response, as in you do not even hear the spinning sound when you press the ignition button, I have to press the ignition button a 2nd or 3rd time before the bike will try to start the engine. Does anybody has this symptom or know what is going on with my bike?

I've similar problem, press the ignition button, no sound/response at all.. end up kick-start, but at times it work fine.

I'm suspect the battery or the charge (b4 starter motor got some problem)

i'll ask my mechanic on my next servicing...

Nice to know someone else having similar problem as I have with the exception that I can start my car at 2nd try after I turn my key on and let it on for 3 seconds and above. Do update us after you have spoken to your mechanic after the servicing. Thank you :)

Just to share my experience... Went to wing yap a while back to install a pair of E21 kappa box. Have to say that it's a place I'll not visit for the second time. Call to ask and was quoted $230. Reached and was told it should be around $260 - 270. When I tried to pay for the bill, was quoted $270 but still need to add GST. Was really pissed but just about the price but the whole installation experience. The bracket they gave was even identical on both sides... I just can't believe that! I must say the mechanic was rather apologetic and tried to make it up by giving me a free bag. The guy who I asked for a discount (cos I still need to come back again to correct the bracket) was not cool at all! Even have the cheek to say already nvr include installation fee... Don't you just hate shops that quote you in parts. Warning to all, if you have to go there, make sure you gotten the price right.

Oh Btw, did I mentioned that someone was there with a leaking engine and I overheard their conversation of: " just tape it up and stop it for the time being, ask him come back again. Busy now." If it's me, I'll be bloody pissed...
