Thanks bro for the reply.

I saw people selling K&N filter at $40 to $48, can buy not? hahaha! I'm changing my engine oil from motul 5100 10W30 to 7100 10w40. would it be better in terms of difference?

Hi Guys,

I have been experiencing wobbling for my fz16. Been using it fir 10 months. recently slf skided den started wobbling after that. went to shop, had my tyre change, cone checked, fork checked and alignment check but the mechanic said all was fine. Asked a friend riding the same bike to try out mine and he told me my bike was wobbling. Any advice?

I recently saw someone dismantle the whole FZ16ST and convert it into a naked bike FZ16. Could there be any chance that the previous seller does not know it either? Are you the 2nd owner?

I bought from a shop. I already called them and they said it is a FZ16T and previous owner removed the fairings. LOL. What are the advantage or disadvantage of this ? FZ16ST all specs same right? except only got fairing

Hahah! My guess is correct! Anyway is your FZ16 white in colour with blue rims? just curious.

There is no specific advantage or disadvantage whereas FZ16ST gives you a bigger bike look like mini Fazer6 or Fazer1.

It's just plain design, for your own preference only.

Just hope that previous owner know what he is doing and make sure whatever should be in placed be in placed. As long as you have no problem riding it, you're good to go! Ride safe brother! :thumb:

Recently, my fz16 has sounds at the bottom, like tack....tack....tack when slower speed or while stopping. It was due chain n sprocket, so I had replaced those, last year may 2014. Now i m well aware and taking care of chain n it's cleanliness, lube etc.

Recently I am having this noise problems agin and brought back the bike to dealer for repair, they changed the bearing, then noise stopped couple of days, then start again. Went back to dealer then mechanic told me that maybe the rim hole is bit open so the bearing doesn't fit well into the hole, but he helped me to change bearing again. He told me to change the Rim, if this problem starts again.

Since yesterday, the noise start again n I m thinking what should I do this time. Becoz if it's really the rim problem, then It's expensive to change.

Btw my bike is 23 months old n running 30k km by now.

Pls advise, if anyone here has same experience Pls.

From the way you're describing it. It may just be metal contraction sounds lah.... I also have them when I'm at a stop or slowing down.

There are other ways to bring out the FZ.. you can always change your block, racing cam, racing carb.. many more~~~ but at the end of the day, how fast you want a 150CC bike to go!?!?!??!?! It's a street bike not a sports bike...

So troublesome, change bike easier.

Hi all need your help here..i bought an fz16st last month and ever since i encounter problems with my clutch in which my biting point kept going nearer and nearer as days passes..and at time its it is really hard for me to gauge the biting point..i had went to my bike shop for 3 time so far to readjust my clutch and they do not know exactly either what is really wrong with my bike..even after chaging clutch cable problem still arise..if anyone has encounter such problems or knows how to fix this, please let me know..thanks

Clutch cable loose due to the lock nut at the clutch loosen. u can do ur adjustment and no need to change clutch plate. shop will not tell u the prob else they got no money to earn from u.

Some other parts might damaged without u knowing. wheel bearings? swing arm bearings? frame? dun think the shop checked those. if the wobble is not that bad, just have to live with it.

Thank u luminicious and skateboy.

Yes maybe it's metal contractions, but when I bring the bike to mechanic, the first thing they do is checking the chain, bearing etc.

Hi, skateboy, if it's the chain loosen, I may need to tighten it every week, I believe. Will try out the solutions that u guys suggested.

Thank u guys

Pressurized water and motorcycles simply don't mix. It is never a good idea to take your bike to a pressure wash. If you do, just use the low pressure mist that usually comes out without pulling the handle back. You should expecially avoid using it on your your chain. It forces water into the pins and past the "o" rings. It corrodes the pins and no amount of lube will cure that problem. A chain should be degreased with a solvent soaked rag or a specifically forumulated chain cleaner. You can't lube a chain too much. Any extra lubricant spins off and coats everything with sticky chain grease, which can also include the side of your rear tire. It also attracts tons of road dirt which then requires more cleaning. A chain if best lubed warm after a ride and done roughly every 500 miles. Your chain should have 5/8 to 1" of slack.
