Motogp 2011 - After 8 races, this is a personal views of the top 10 riders

1. Casey Stoner - A fast and consistent Aussie rider. He is a former Motogp champion and the only rider that rivals off Rossi in the past. Currently, he deserved the championship again this year if he continues to ride the way he is for now. I dislike his helmet design.

2. Jorge Lorenzo - 2010 Motogp champion from Spain and a world class rider of his own. His over the top celebration after winning a race looks like a man in his own world. His rage and winning determination pace makes him enjoyable to watch. A very skillful rider indeed for this young champion, but, to maintain his crown, he has plenty of rivals for this year championship.

3. Andrea Dovizioso – A consistent Italian Rider in Honda Repsol. Seems a like a friendly fast racer from next door. he only manage to win the 2nd place for 3 times this year but none as a champion. Sad statistic for him so far

4. Valentino Rossi - An Italian with an Italian bike, but the magic did not shine with it. He has been losing out to the younger and faster boys now. Manage only a 3rd position this season but that was lucky win since other fast riders crash out in the heavy rain. His fan base is ever exciting to watch at every race venue and his smiling face ever shines onto the camera lenses. Great legendary rider but seriously need to think about retirement if he wants to keep his legendary status.

5. Nicky Hayden – An American in Italian Bike but non to the summer. He is a former 2006 Motogp world champion during his Honda days. Currently, an ever disappointing finishes where only manage a 1 time 3rd place this year. He is an experience rider who has spent 9 years in MotoGP and counting on possibly.

6. Ben Spies – Another American but in the Yamaha Factory team. A consistent rider and manage to win 1 race and one 3rd place. He is a fast and is an upcoming new talented rider to dominate Motogp in coming future.

7. Dani Pedrosa – A Small Italian Rider in Honda Repsol. It makes people wonder whether he can manage the powerful Motogp bike with his small frame. Nevertheless, he is twice a motogp runner up including 2010. This year so far, he manages to get 1 win, 1 2nd place and 1 3rd place. He is fast rider and can make a difference to the top riders result. Sadly, his missing of past few races due to an injury has affected his precious championship point. It seems that 2011 will not be Pedrosa year again after all. Bus still there is hope and he needs to fight with the race leader and win races of ever thinking of that big prize this year.

8. Hiroshi Aoyama – The Japanese in Japanese Bike Honda, I guess he was brought in as a rep for Japanese rider in Japanese Bike. He is a newbie in MotoGp and 2011 is his second season only. His best result is 1 time 4thposition this year and others are just as disappointing.

9. Colin Edwards – An American using the Yamaha Tech 3. He is a seasoned rider in Motogp where he has spent 9 seasons in the class. Since then, he has never got any GP wins and manages only 4 times in the 2nd position of his entire MotoGp Class career. A cool rider where he manage to get lucky by finishing 3rd position after other top riders crashes out.

10. Marco Simoncelli – A promising young new tall Italian Rider and has spend his second season in the Motogpv with honda. He has been showing and working hard that he is a fast rider. Up to now, he has been in a pole position 70% of the time this year. Sadly some of the race ended him with a crash due to his harsh and hard riding style that cause him to be unable to cross the finishing line. A bad boy of the track now. Nevertheless, he is a rider to watch in Motogp2011.

Regards

Sorry for Pedrosa nationality, i guess i was typing too fast to realise that....

For the names below, they are currently the top 10 rider in the ranking as of today.

For Crutchlow, he is catching up, as a monster tech rider and to be one of the championship contender with the experience boys, he must be consistent and get all the points he can get. Most probably next season he will shine.....
