haha... sorry tat u msg me n i cant go today... as i had juz com back from jb... haha.... btw... clear carbon is speed and drag de rpm arz??? will anything happen to bike anotz?? curious?? sometime i go till 130km den took quite a long time to go up... scare somthing happen... haha...

u riding NSR 150?

 

heard from frens n mechanic tat this bike need to tua but not always la.

Tua to burnt n blow out the carbon.

But b4 u tua, better to do servicing first... cos i think u jus bought ur bike rite? N of cos don tua until to much. I gong gong tua till 180km/h n hold for bout 30 secs n then PISTON JAMMED!!!

safe or not... of cos we cant tell u... u must look out for urself. Of cos, wet weather is a sure not safe.

 

Can corner or not... ermm... i saw RXZ did a real low corner at a filter lane b4. N also SCRAMBLER! too.

 

so... i guess it depends more on your skill n luck.

This tyre quite alright, quite good grip when fresh.....

 

What your fren meant is that, the tyre is still brand new, got a layer of wax, so you need to slowly "run in" the tyres, and work the wax away.....after that, you can do all you want, but in the dry, please.....better still, at track :smile:

from wat i heard, piston jam ur back wheel will lock.. to counter it, juz clutch in..

I donno bout the previous owner... but i didnt modify my bike. My Sp very diff from many other Sp. Its a silent Sp.

 

Yah, like wat they say, piston jammed the rear tyre will get lock. n i mean TOTALLY LOCK. Tat time was coming back frm Kulai after a supper trip then so i try try tua till 180 then didnt know n was not told not to tua n hold for very long.

 

Jammed the first time... heard screeching of tyre then followed by 'xiang long bai wei' i close throttle then prepare to clutch in liao the tyre came rolling again then after 2 sec, here it goes again n this time i quickly clutch in then roll my way to the road shoulder. So heng....!!!

 

So, try not to tua ur bike n let the RPM gets into the red zone. :sweat:

180km/h were got fast... nsr sp can go above 190km/h...

i last time ride sp also...

i ride 120km on my s4 my balls going to start shrinking liao..

According to most tyre manufacturers, no hard braking, hard acceleration, hard cornering for the 1st 100 miles (roughly 160km) upon mounting on a new tyre. It's for the rider to get used to the new tyre and for the wax to wear off. Also, when mounting, sometimes the mechanic applied a small amount of grease so it's easier to mount the tyre.......braking hard or accelerating hard when the tyre is new could cause tyre creep, causing imbalance of the tyre.
