Ala Meen meetup aftermath......

 

Some bikers came down.....let's see....19 of us.....but some are GFs, while of course, one is my wife, so cannot say all 19 are bikers.....

 

1 drove van, with 2 passengers, 1 walked over, the rest all on bikes, but mostly on spare bikes (waves, scooter)

 

Took up 3 tables, had 2 round of drinks, and 1 round of food. Lot's of laught due to BryanPCK's entertainment.

 

New member meet up was Soultrain and his GF. The rest are simply my frens, who are in the forum, but we talk more in real life than chat in this forum...... namely PhantomKnight, RedRocket, chiangyk, nsrgal, DeusExMachina, Xgrind, ByranPCK, Spirits (this one my long long time buddy....) and a few others whom I do not even know the nick!!!!

 

Anyways, tomorrow at 9am, will be roughly 13 bikers going to PG, with 7 bikers having fun in the track.

 

 

Hope next meetup, better turn out ever!!!!

 

babyain, no need to thank me.....like I said, 90% are actually my own frens who "happened" to be in this forum. Every weekend I see these suckers anyways......

Say, you yet to reply me when I asked ya if you mind meeting us at Simpang Bedok, if you know, we wanna have some kopi. You could hitch a cab over and it's not far from Si Mei.

 

One of my buddy stays very near Simpang Bedok, so it's an avenue for us once in a while.....if you're okay, I'll call ya then.

We had an eventful day.....

 

Total attendance was 14 ppl......Myself and wife, Soultrain (Halim) and GF, Marcus and GF, Charlie and Fiancee, RedRocket (Damien), DeusExMachina (Rudy), BryantPCK (Bryant), Arjunna, Spirits (Rafi) and lastly, PhantomKnight (Noel).

 

In the track: Nologicone, RedRocket, BryantPCK, Charlie, Marcus, DeusExMachina and Soultrain.

 

First, after JB customs, Marcus's bike died out of fuel after the U Turn, ha ha, and Bryant ran from Shell (the further one) to help him push bike after he's done topping up. Upz for him!!! That delayed like 15mins.....

 

On the track, unfortunately one of our riders had a mini high side, and Thanks GOD he's fine!!! Well, at the end of day, everybody has his share of sliding and incident story to share.

 

For myself, 1st, I left my tool bag at home.....2nd, was I did not bring my other more accurate tyre gauge along. 3rd, I found the bike a tad bit more noisy and I keep riding the bike 1 gear up to bring down the noise, until I realise why. I forgot to put on earplugs. So the first 6 laps, I do not feel good about myself. Not the bike, she's fantastic, but I was holding back......

 

Prob 1 was solved as I have a set of tools on my bike, check.....problem 2, I just anyhow lower my pressure. Seems too low for my rear. Prob 3, no brainer.....when I pit in after my 1st 6 laps, I put them on before going in again.

 

The 2nd set of 4 laps was great.....not very fast, but enjoyable.....right RPM, wrong lining as usual, but hey, I could feel the bike......that's what's important for me. The earplugs, helps. Period. Lapped until they flagged us in.....1st time lapped till flagged. My tyres are shot......did a burn out just for the thrill of it. For those who uses tyres till the fabric, wanna take mine??? 120/70-17F and 180/55-17R. FREE!!!!

 

After that, we proceed to get my fren's bike fixed. Reach the JB Ah Boy, stranded in rain.....4 of us lost our way, but we RV at the shop in 30mins time. They were drenched. Thanks to Auto Roam, we managed to stay in contact. Dun leave home without it!!!!

 

Stranded at shop for 2 hrs due to rain......then had dinner opp New York Hotel, the Ramli Burger place.....eat, drink, talk c*** until shiok, even until someone start dozing off, we made our way home......Gas up, clear custom and reach home @ 1830hrs for me.

in fact, nw is everyone is online on different times and when no one post, the rest doesn't feel like posting, juz like me..

me online most of the time but depends on mood also. Weekend got no plans only need to send bike to idac for assessment to claim insurance.Kena summon $200 and points then now I got call by lawyer sayin the cab driver wanna claim...sian!!

fractured my right wrist and a few abrasions only nothing that bad.But I was shocked...didn't expect the call at all.Lagi worse I didn't even know I could claim the cab driver until I read my insurance policy booklet.This is the first time I kena accident after almost 5 yrs.What do U expect?! Soultrain, NoLogicOne is on Relief Mission. Should be back in a week. We will let u and the others know when the next track session will be when he comes back.
