hi ppl... need help urgently....

 

juz now when i was on my way back home from work while stopping at traffic light my bike suddenly die off... i didnt do anything.. it juz automatic die off... den i kick start can start....

 

den...

 

after 30mins of ride out of expressway, my bike die off again at traffic light... tis time i tries kicking start cannot start... kick alot of time oso cannot... den i push my bike to de side.... i off de switch (ENGINE RUN & OFF) to OFF den click RUN back den try kick start den my bike can start liaoz... den i rode home, reach my car park, off my engine n kick start again... it can start.... test for 3-5times all de tries can start...

 

Last time i had done to my bike:

 

1. Usually use Mobil F1 Synergy Petrol... But wanna try CALTEX 97... so pump full tank... now inside my tank is CALTEX... but all de way till now no problem... petrol still can go 20-30km more... haven open reserve....

 

2. Spark Plug (DENSO) & Engine oil (ESSO GOLD) change when i brough my bike... WHich is 28/02/05...

 

3. FUll service done 1mth ago...

 

thats all...

 

any1 noe wad happen?? cos i scare 2molo cannot start more worst...

is ur idling too low?... when u start ur bike, how much is ur RPM?... might be the carb setting off liao... so when u were at traffic light, already stopped then the bike stall or when u are stopping at the traffic light then the bike stall?..

 

if jus now can start, then tml oso can start one... relax... might be a small problem... mai gan cheong first.. chk out ur idling first, guess shld be ard 1.2k(after warm up)... cant really confirm the idling for SP, any help?...

yahz... i juz tune my idling to 1.15... cannot be de idling.. cos i oso suspect.. but my idling its at 1.15... its i stop at traffic waiting for light to turn green... den suddenly die off... carbrator dirty oso will cause de bike to die mehz?? i juz service 1mth ago lehz... but my air box don hav de sponge... dey take out... cos torn liaoz... mayb 2molo go msia change e.o, spark plug, wash carbrator...

Yo guys,

 

Try not to pump at those petrol station near the check point. Sometimes the petrol are not pure enough. I usually pump petronas (abt 6km from check point) or shell near market. But nowadays go by 2nd link so mostly pump petronas.... err... don't ask me what wrong with the petrol....

Since the last thing you did was to play with your Engine Cut switch, just check to see if there's some open wires or loose wires that might, you know, kill the engine...... No harm.....

And I have to ask......ha ha ha, heard about that, especially the Shell opp the police station. What a fren whom I trust told me that it ever flood knee high at that area, and observing the low area the station is situated, I think it's highly possible.

 

Pertaining to that Shell station, I heard ever more exagerating stories like lalang in the fuel, debris, etc.......these are just some hearsay and rumours. Anyways, I ever pump at that Shell......once. Nothing harmful, but that bike I already sold....

1. Engine Oil 4T dunno wad brand... i tin silkolene... but de bottle different.. nv c b4 1... boss say very good... so juz giv it a try... ---> RM24.90... discount till rm24...

 

2. Racing Spark Plug NGK 9 ---> Rm12... discount till rm10...

 

3. Wash carbrator ---> RM 8...

 

4. Tuning ---> Free

 

5. Red colour speedometer bulb ---> RM 2...

 

Total Rm24+10+8+2= Rm 44.00

 

Discount till Rm40...

 

haha... i tin very cheap liaoz... de spark plug other shop rm15, wash carbrator other shop rm 12... red colour blub other shop rm3...

 

overall service 8.5/10

attitude 10/10

Oh, by the way, H2O is...........Hydrogen Oxide??? Or something like that??? My chemistry cannot make it....or is it Hydro 2 Oxide??? Alamak.......cannot lah, buang.....

 

The layman term is WATER......and water in fuel system is bad, as it does not support combustion, hence the dying of engine (stalling is the right word), poor idling and loss of power as water offset the fuel air mixture with it's presence in the fuel (Thus fuel is not 100% fuel only), and worse is the crossion that will happen in the fuel tank as water sets in at the bottom (water higher density, thus sink....). One day fuel starts to trickle down your thighs, you will know it......it's cheap, around $15 to get it weld back, but you will lose your full tank of petrol. Common sense, who will offer to weld a fuel tank with petrolum in it???

Well, you should promo the shop, instead of the oil they carry, as eng oil is individual's preference.

 

How to know oil is good......1st, it should make the gear change smooth.....2nd, should not affect engine power (too thick an oil can cause that). 3rd is how long the smoothness last. That's all......your bike's concern should be the 2T rather. As that's the oily stuff that lubricate the piston.
