Please please, i'm not god. There are much more things that I dunnoe. For example, the change of spark plug is done by my bro draught. I just document it to share with others through this forum.

I hope by doing this will set others to follow and share our knowledge no matter how little it may be. That is one of the main objectives of this forum or any other forum. To share. So let us share people and we shall learn together.

Hi

I am a S4 lover. Currently i am planning using S4 to travel around the world

Some questions regarding the bike:

- where can i change my fuel tank to a bigger one so that i may go without top up for at least 500km. Any idea?

- is S4 suitable for long journey travelling? such as one shot from singapore to thailand. is it comfortable?

thanks

For the coolant container in the right side panel, what level do I have to top up the coolant to?

Noob qn: Can I use water or must I use the coolant they sell at petrol stations?

UNHAPPY with shell?

Take your money elsewhere then. I did.

You should top it up to the half of the bottle. Not to the full as water expand.

Top up with coolant or distill water. Never use tap water unless really no choice.

Sorry no there is not such big tank for you to travel up to 500 km.

But Superfour is good enough to let you top up every 300km

As for comfort should be alright as lots of S4 travel to thailand with easy

Points to note when changing of spark plug. Make sure you have the correct tools when changing it. Unwise if you do not have as it make damage the thread and also create less power.

Air pressure leaks.

AFAM Sprocket / DID X ring chain ? Tyre wise, depend on your budget.. Sportec M3 is latest model, heard a lot of good review.. The most common one now is M1 loh.

I personally like long distance tyre as i need to travel more. Therefore BT020 is good. But if you like cornering then you can try BT014.

for spocket i took the original one and as for chain DID x-ring.

Do be careful when buying original spocket. for spec 2 is only 44 teeth not 45.

That time i forgot to check and the bike shop actually trick me and give me a 45 teeth. I will still go back to the shop. But this time round i make sure is 44 teeth.

carbon starter is a must, if not u cant start ur bike at all. r bike already have carbon starter already, so u dnt need to further install it unless ur carbon starter cant be used due to wear & tear then u'll need to change it

Stay below 5k RPM, which is about 80km/h.... change to mineral oil regularly at 800km, 1600km and 2400km. At 3200km can change to fully or semi- syn oil.
2) What petrol is better? or no diff?

Not much diff.... up to your preference. Octance 95 should work well enough.
Thanks

That's because you are still running-in.... running-in will consume more fuel.... you should be able to get a more accurate sensing of your fuel consumption after your running-in....

You need to remove your fuel tank first.....
