hey guys, I am new to filling petrol in SG. Have been filling up in JB all these months.

I just went to Esso and used my Citibank card and also got membership card with Esso and they say 15% discount.

The discount percentages are so confusing. Lets keep it simple and just talk about the final price that we pay.

For me, I filled 8.3 ltrs and final price = 14.34 So price per ltr = 14.34/8.3= $1.73 for RON 92.

The original price displayed on the bunk was $2.03. So yeah I got about 15% discount.

Any suggestions on getting it even more cheaper?

Now no restriction for foreign motorbikes to pump 95 at JB liao.

Yeah, SPC for me too. 10% Station discount + 5% Posb Everyday card, + 3% Posb Everyday cash rebate = 18%. No frills discount. Better than other stations who still need to accumlate points to exchange for petrol.

Hi Bro, where you got the info from? true or not?

I just came back from MY today, RM2.80 per liter, faint lah

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

Didn't you see the new notice on every pump?

"For all foreign registered car, even if driven by Malaysian citizen, are not allowed to pump 95. For all foreign registered motorbike, there is no restriction to pump 95."

They don't differentiate between Malaysian or singaporean now.

Foreign car cannot pump 95, foreign motorbike can pump 95.

Just whack 95 lah bro.

KUALA LUMPUR: RON95 petrol and NGV fuel will be banned from being sold to foreign registered vehicles from tomorrow, the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry announced today.

RON95 petrol would, however, be allowed to be sold to foreign registered motorcycles as an exception.
