Bro Gun, do no if u can help me or not, yesterday go bikeshop in JB nusa idaman area to check on timing chain, mechanic open n guess wat, the camshaft housing is broken! cialat, he told me dono if can get the part, i did a quick check on part manual, n... no part number! today (sat) 8am sharp call suzuki assembler (setia tropika) sadly no answer, call later again no answer, maybe closed on sat, no choice, went back to bike shop, mechanic say no choice, temp put back broken camshaft housing, ned to quickly find replacement part, i don think i want to ride it to work on mon. Am wondering if Bro Gun can ask your bike shop if he have spare which i can buy. pls help

for sure it can cause sometimes people welding tembaga for crankshaft

with these at least people know what you talking rather then keep opening the cylinder.

 

maybe the special welding can help you solve

 

next time make sure you use good semi-synthetic oil and also change frequent oil filter

 

i suppose this happen cause overheat engine - lack of oil and over due oil change

Upkeeping of my bike for your reference:

 

1) Finally solved my fluctuating speedometer reading problem

 

Culprit?? The chipped off speedometer rotor! Its a small ring located behind the speedometer sensor housing near the left foot rest. (black cover). Replacement cost about $28. Now speed reading is correct! And i realised that i've been travelling quite FAST in the past! haha....

 

 

 

 

i was reading back what dragster did to his bike on page 17

 

the portion above " small ring " I could not find in the part catalogue. Do not know which he is pointing. I suspect the o-ring behind speedometer gear. This o-ring is expensive.

Still the same ah bro, no ride slow like turtle only, parts havent change. busy currently cannot take leave, so far so gd, only backfire, idling stable already, the other day change the 2 valve intake cos wear n valve oil seal (ori belang parts), piston rings, engine perform better. As for meter reset mine is 9999999999, i also wan to reset, my guess is urs will be the same, stuck at 99999999, i ever read on net, they ned a device to reset the meter, like a computer device, i think like this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=SG&hl=en-GB&v=lI9BU9DEsH8, if you can find kangtao do reset let me know i also wan to reset mine.
