roughly how much most ppl spend on their SP monthly? anw i realised 2nd hand SP bikes are cheaper than 2nd hand sparks. kinda surprising given 1st hand SPs should be more ex.

Dunno if got such thing as first hand SP but obviously 2nd hand sparks will be more expensive because 1) Its newer 2) Its more in demand.

SPs cost $11K when they were first released. I've seen a brand new KR for sale at $7K at Looi's, so I imagine that would be the ballpark for a brand new SP.

SPs are very cheap to maintain. I used to ride/maintain one for a friend. All I did was change the gear oil every 3000KM. Changed the brake pads and tyres when required. I used Maxima K2, 1 bottle lasted me around 450KM. But his bike was running a little lean, too much 2T was entering the mixture. Never got round to fine tuning it for him. I'm sure 1 bottle could easily last over 500KM if the bike were set up properly. Topped up the coolant whenever it went down (got the coolant free though).
