Playstation Network Down For a Consecutive 6 Days; Hack Attack, User Data Compromised

About 75 million customers affected as they can't play or battle online-enabled games with other Sony Playstation users, access its Qriocity music purchasing service or Netflix service.

 

Almost a week ago, Playstation Network (PSN) went down without warning, and it seemed like a technical glitch to some.

 

After reports that they were investigating, and between lengthy silent intervals with promises here-and-there of a one-or-two-day (unsuccessful) resolution of PSN, this service is still stuck in it's 6th day of outage.

 

Moreover, the news that's coming out today is that "Sony has now said that an intruder stole personal information about its users, potentially including their credit card numbers." - according to tech newspapers around the world.
