U can try calling HKL, they have street legal akra pipes now but not sure 4 Birdie. The last time I checked (if i'm not mistaken), akra pipe 4 Birdie no stock, got to order.... I've got a fren using a pair of akra end cans and a couple using street illegal 4 to 1 full system. As for the performance and sound....hmmm.... I giv akra :thumb: :thumb:

My 25 blinks still have but i dun bother...many new bikes are out there but the BB have this fatal attraction that no other bikes can give me....

I had call leo vinc's agent but they had no stock for BB... Saw a gray BB at jln kayu last night the CBR wording very nice wondering is it orginal or got it else where??? Silver plastic CBR... hmmm that bike got a thai bike week 2008 decal on the right side of his wind shield.

 

which is better...leo vinc or micron????...i dont go for illegal pipes la..this mth going for inspection and don wan tp to chase me ha ha....

Wally used to be the organizer for outings,and still am.Even wen he change to Fazer.Normally they pump on Fri nite.Clear carbon session on 2nd link.

hey guys, im riding a 929 and having problems with my bike. i just thought since blackbirds are also a honda product, it should share similar FI systems... hope you guys can help me out a little here..

 

got a worrying problem with my bike; symptoms as follows:

 

1) for the past few weeks, every time i rev past 7k rpm, the FI light will turn on... so i didn't do that till today. previously, i'll just stop my bike by the shoulder, turn on and off then no problem

2) was in the need for speed mood today, so rev past 7k rpm and the light came on again, did the same thing; stop by the roadside, turn on and off

3) this time got problem

- i turn on the bike only got tickticktick sound coming from underneath the engine

- the FI light is on and did not go off

- only manage to ride in 2nd gear max, i believe this is some kind of safety mechanism

 

i very worried now... alot of family problems ($$$), road tax/inspection coming up in 2 wks and now my trusty steed do this to me sigh... luck never comes consecutively, bad things happen in series.

 

anyway, do you guys have any idea what is wrong and roughly how much it will cost?

Ur 929,does it have any manual stating to count the Fi blinks.If any on 929.

If the Fi lite stays on,its either ur harness grounding got issue or ur CDI got issue.

I dun't get wat u mean by saying,u can only go max on 2nd gear.U can go any higher or wat?

wen was the last time u do valve clearance?

hi guys, i just learnt from a soccer buddy that you can run diagnostics by putting the sidestand down after stopping and getting in neutral.

 

so here's the code that popped out: 3 long blinks and 5 short blinks.

 

can someone check their blackbird manuals and perhaps give me a description of the exact code

 

i know im riding a 929 and perhaps it'll be different, but just in case the 929 fellas dont reply, i can get some sort of reference.

ok bro sorry to hear bout ur problems.......as in our shop manual.......there is not 35 blinks(3 long 5 short)so the next ting is that blinks is caused by two or more problems......that means its 10 blinks plus 25 blinks.....and as in the manual for 10 blinks the problem is loose connection on baro sensor connector/open or short circuit at baro sensor wire/faulty barosensor.....then comes the 25 blinks which is loose contact at the knockoff sensor connector/open or short circuit at knock sensor wire/faulty knocksensor.....those are wat they say in the manual....i dnt knoe if ur FI has the same format as us but u can give it a try......hope the info is relevent

Any of u guys know where I can get these tyres (front and back) 4 my Birdie at a good price incl installation? Currently using Bridgestone BT021 and now my front tyre going bald oredi. Need to replace. Rear still got bout 70%.....

thks to all that replied or gave some thought to my enquiry; i checked overseas forums and fault code 35 actually means "EGCV servomotor lock".

 

looks like its time to burn pocket again, no choice these days; die die must get 2nd hand.
