who? i didnt ride my blackbird out today........ i saw another silver bb along AYE to Keppel road b4, silver too, with givi topbox too, but he got the givi side panniers too..

 

and it cant be me.. CMYRS would have recognised me..

i too was there recently, washed n sync my fi, was ok for the last few days n now the rpm needle is bouncing ard too much again, n the auto choke doesn't really work

for auto choke, u need to check e wax unit.. my rpm needle still bounce bt nt dat muc.. hv u asked ah beng?

anyway, i saw that blackbird in bike prod. looks like in good condition. and well, the pipe gonna cost you 1.8k brand new brand. and the pipe on the bike still looks pretty good in condition. should be a good buy... check the engine though.

I changed mine to the bridgeport ones

its about 70 off the shelf

but if u change tyres its much cheaper because

the tyres are already off from the rims

got mine for 50 when changing tyres

Bridgestone tyres 31(damn i cant rem now) (Sports-touring) going for 425

Pilot Road 2 going for 415.

 

All these are prices at Unique.

 

Anyway bros get a good tyre valve esp if you getting the bended type.

My fren a bad experience with his cheap L-Valve. He was riding a super four. Suppose to go touring to Penang. But on the way at Malacca his tyre valve "poooooom". Luckily have another fren who manage to modify a car tyre vale to use.

Tyre, for metzler IMHO i recommend Sportec M1,

For Michelin of course Pilot Road 2,

But wait, there is one new model from Bridgestone BT-023, should try this, get the one with GT spec, especially for heavy touring bikes...

 

 

The L-valve,(capalang ones) many have encountered bad experience with it, it happens to one of my friend to, during our trip to Hadyai Songkan Festival this year, damm, trip was delayed b'cos of it...!

pakai boleh pakai geng, tapi jgn pakai lama-2 la, next tyre change then tukar sekali...!

bro circa i got the L-valve thingy ard 50 or 60 bucks at unique...when u getting married? jgn lupa jemput ah..hhehe....call me @ 83763611 if wana lepaks....
