Hi Bros,

 

My bike seems to be leaking clutch fluid. Saw a small puddle of fluid under the bike. Now there's no tension on the clutch lever. Not sure how the problem came along. It was working fine then suddenly started leaking. Any idea what can be done to fix it? Currently can't engage in any gears as the engine will die off.

 

Btw, Happy Chinese New Year!!

try to pinpoint the exact location bro.If its from the cable joint,juz get a new cable and clutch fluid to change it....of course u must bleed the clutch la.Remember to wash the fluid off the fairing or else it will eat up the plastic.Mebbe the bros here can help you....:)

Yep..check the clutch hose,connector(banjo) and bleed nipple...If no trace of fluid leakage there,then its your slave cylinder seal koyak...Seals can be change,cost about 15SGD or cheaper..but most opt to change the whole slave cylinder assembly...

Thanks bros for the replies. Now I roughly have an idea on what to do..but still i dont think i will be able fix it on my own..now bike currently stuck at workplace..will get it tow to the workshop and settle it..will update on what the problem is and the $$$...hopefully not an expensive fix..

Depends wat u wanna do.

 

1) putty back n respray 200plus

2) replace with oem parts (side fairings 600 turn light 150)

If u claim from other party dun worry abt the cost let the other party ins settle with shop,if u skid by urself like me.......lan lan repair at own cost.took me nearly 2 yrs to rebuild my bird,even so still searching for some parts.

My orgasm starts at 299km/h.....

If u claim insurance from another party then ahead all change brand new dun bother repair coz puttywise will not be as solid as brand new.

Rim if not mistaken is nearly 900.coz no point if bike got all the turbo or Nos but no wheel dats y its pricey.....
