i would think that this will be the next in line of sportsbike when cbr400, rvf, gsxr 400 phrases out in the coming years..since there are not alot sportsbike in this cat already.

by the time, the resale value would be relatively good.

Thing is, its not even a sports bike, its more like a street cum touring bike.

it's not a sport bike. kawa never claim it is.

it's a street bike with full fairing of a sport bike.

it's sporty like a sport bike though. very torquey in low and mid range.

it's parallel twin. shorter than v-twin, smaller than in-line 4 engine.

the seat height is a low 795mm. user friendly for ppl 5 foot 7 and below.

upright sitting position comfortable for light tour to hatyai.

yup I know its Singapore but what is the reason that it cost so much more than other country? due to tax? cuz COE is like 1.5K that dont add much to the price. the price here is almost double, seems ridiculous

Because we have a ridiculous government and ridiculous people who voted for them. Enough said...still cheaper than Malaysia big bikes but in the long run, its more expensive in Singapore, COE, road tax, petrol.

Ridiculous how I see Hyundai Elantra in Singapore is 95,499 while in the US its only 15,345.

Well, I guess I'll never get a Kawasaki though its sort of my dream bike, maintenance problem.

depends. some factors to think about:

do u get this bike just for the feel? then better not buy

do u get this bike just to roam around singapore often? then better not buy

do u get this bike so that u can travel far oftenly like once or twice a month or just often love to ride far away? then better buy

do u wish to keep this bike for long? at least for the next 10 years despite u feel that parts are rare? then better buy.

do u get this bike just to tour because u got a side bike? then better buy.

can u afford it? dot dot dot ...

just my $4.69 cents
