anybody running a koso rear damper on his/her 06 runner? pricing?

 

wanna get some feedback on this shock selling by tai hin, i personally feel that the stock shock is too harsh and it affects my traction on uneven sections on the roads..not going for race performance, just want something with more progressive feel and is more plush...any recommendations?

 

i think malossi and bitubo are out of my range then, or anyone tried changing the spring?

bout the rear shocks, i do have the same problem too. i feel that the shocks are to sensitive. even when i'm cornering, when the roads are slightly uneven, it will be unstable. what a bummer. i myself trying to search for a gd shock with a gd price. NSman pay small la. so reviews pls if u guys have any for the shocks.

hi guys. i urgently need help from u fellow runners. i bought my runner sp180 a mnth ago. so far so good. but recently, there's something leaking. at first i thought it was not mine. then it start to leak alot of times. i suspect it's my coolen because it dried up so fast. can u guys tell me what's wrong. need help here. thank you.

the newer logo is stronger, the old one breaks easily.

But then the old logo looks alot better.

You know where is ur coolant tank is?

Everytime u park, is there a pool of coolant under ur bike after some time?

Go to a bike shop get it checked.

Maybe the tubes crack or break already. Worst case, change a new coolant tank.

for tire pressure i always pump 29psi for front n 32psi for rear...

the manual recommand to pump 1.7 bar n 2.2bar if there is box or pillion or 2 bar without anything...

 

for the rear shock i think most of us are facing the same problem... so dun think there is much thing we can do...

 

i saw a few of the runner with the round logo...

but it look exactly the same as 06 runner...

check ur water pump...dunno wher nvm..juz try tracing the leakage every morning then tell us the location :cheer:

BT39ss..height profile different for fxr n vxr use...

 

if u say tt91 is ex then compare it to tyres for sports bikes or other bikes many used to ride..gd anot I cant comment coz nv try b4 but most reviews had be positive

ya loh... tyres very important 1. my shop gave me a 2nd hand tyres when i brought my bike wif them, but........ everytime i brake on wet ground i cfm will "float" forward abit... :sweat: take some time to master my braking skill..

does any1 know how i can care for the plastic parts of my '05 runner?

 

specifically the dashboard area...can see the condition of the plastic deteriorating...

aaanyway, i just wanted to share that i recently sent by bike for a full servicing...

 

was shocked the mechanic was replacing my gear oil...a disgusting creamy mixture poured out...he explained that water had entered...eeeew...

 

told me to check gear oil again when i change engine oil to check if the prob persisted...

 

any1 kenna this b4?

 

what's the cause of it uh?
