"helllluu bruders.... been awhile since i came online, hey just a small doubt, my throtter seems to be rather stiff, as in when i open throtter, it can stay in tat particular position, until i close it, can any of u help shed some light on tis matter...."

 

 

I got this prob sometime back on my 06.. i tinks its due to the rain tat was seep thru the drip and thus causing it to stuck. i went to taihin ang dunno wat they do la cos i never see. then ok liao. no more stuck. no more auto pilot when the grip can jus stay stuck thru out the ride

hey swnn, its d water tat sips in. this is one of those common problems wif our bikes. they put a washer in between ur throttle balancer so tat theres an ample gap for easy throttling. hey to the guys tat went for the gathering just now, thanks and uh... the laptopgal is complaining that now shes got a nick among us. hahaha...:cheer: :thumb:

Losen ur balancer as its too tight.

06 bros gd news...

 

Future bought in some black synthetic leather cover to cover over at the fuel cap to prevent water from slipping in. Go there to take a look if u all are interested. I saw this thru their forum. However i find it troublesome when comes to pumping but it's better than letting water slipping in. Go and take a look if u all are interested.

Should be a good shield to cover the fuel cap from direct rain but it seems that rain might still creep in slowly along the seams.

A mikuni TM24 for a stroker will cost u around $200. with installation. Its basically a more efficient carb compared to the stock carb.

Stock is a round slide that deforms into oval shape after some years of abuse while the mikuni carb is a flat slide carb.
