read post #2 on how CVT works n how a variator works..then understand and compare the differences between the 2 aftmkt brand available in Spore which is Malossi n Polini b4 choosing which malossi calls it the multivar while polini calls it the speed control

Last but not least clutch bell is a component which the clutch will expand n grip on when engage which is a part wher power is transfer to which will end up spinning the wheels..same thing find out the diff between the Polini clutch bell n the orginal clutch bell as Malossi has no compaitable clutch bell for maxi scooter (anything above 100cc) use as wat it hav is mean for 50cc scoots.

Part number for Polini clutch bell for 4strokes is 250.007 n part number for 2stroke is 250.006 so dun buy the wrong thing

Cheers n hav fun pimping ur ride :goodluck:

Hey guys.. Just wondering.. Which one's better? Pollini or Malossi??

Did a check on these and actually there's more brands up there and cheaper as compared to those 2..

but most shops in singapore i see only bring in polini or malossi... tsk quite sad huh

yes u r right ther r other brands of aftmkt products but in Spore only Malossi n Polini r being brought in so far..Polini has a slightly lesser choices of products for the 2 strokes than Malossi as well as for 4 strokes...understand both b4 a decision..I suggest asking feedbacks from different users or even better users who had tried both products but shld be quite little n they may not share their experience aft paying the sch fees ..overall I can say for maxi Italian scoots both brands r the top range products u can find :thumb:

i never complain about price. jus wanna noe whether its common to have free e33 not. if recent buyers have it den i also wanna try bargain for one lorz. btw its it advicable to change my polini speed control, speed clutch and spedd bell from my old bike to the new runner? the parts just 1month old onli. if change liaoz i still need to run in the bike?

changing transmission parts no need to run in...but I suggest learn how to control n maximise the orginal machine b4 adding performace enhancements..same goes for all machines including cars or other bikes

very good tunning on both ur fuel intake n transmission n ur engine setup n ur gearing..huge project which by end of day every single drop of fuel is not wasted n will return u wif the maximum performace...same for all machines..all I can say it will nv be a buy 1 part n put inside the bike then u will be faster n save more fuel than the rest kinda thingy :thumb:

grounding is some electrical things that helps to stablise ur currents n again in helps some ways in ur overall performace but for small bikes n new bikes it is "HEARSAY" not dat useful...search up the internet for info on grounding n u shld hav any idea wat is it all abt n decide..last thing I know race bikes had no batt so such things is not needed n if race bikes r consider the ultimate performace range ur looking for then dat is the way to go

cheers :goodluck:

how fast u wanna go? main thing abt autos is how fast u get from standstill to 'speed a'. thats my opinion lah .. and dun forget speed comes with handling .. so get better 'handlers' hahaha.. i mean shocks and good braking system coz u need to stop sumwhere.. hehehe.

about less consumption, i dun get it leh ... less consumption from ur present setup? or less consumption from stock setup? or from stock with present setup? my opinion, if u already want performance.. fc shdn't be ur issue wat ... want super fast but want fuel economy ... woit! fair or not? :faint:

btw good luck in ur find.. hehehe ... :thumb:

thanks spy and bongstar for the useful info n comments, aniway evilboi, i tink all gilera 06' are the same size n maybe the colour is the culprit that differ the size.

u noe what guys, if only theres a mod company like the states wcc and american chopper, i would be oneof those interested to send my bike for a unique makeover... hahaha... ''daydreaming''

the speed clutch i already have is from a 2 stroke bike so u mean diff cannot change over liao huh?? wat about the speed bell and speed control??

Polini has all these 3 items u mention for 2strokes use only n these same 3 items for 4 strokes use only...

so it is 6 different part numbers found on the product catalogue...my common knowledge tells me if the parts r useable on both 2strokes n 4strokes then the manufacturer dont no need 2 separate products for the bikes involve.

I wont not say that u can or cannot change it over from ur 2stroke to ur 4stroke unless u try..will it fit or not n if it work or not or work to the product's best I will not know n of coz using incompatible products will it cause any damages I also dunno thus the best person to ask is Polini themselves.

Malossi suspension system??..well the thing is it is adjustable n the problem is also becoz it is adjustable do we know how to adjust it to the correct setup??..Im no racer wif a racing team supporting wif engineers n mechs ard wif computers to read my data n do the setting for me...all we can do is to make some simple adjustments for ourselfs to feel abit more comfortable but we might not be able to make the best setup for the product to work itz best for us thus I tink a simple plug n play system that is made wif improvements for dat vehicle model over the stock equipment will be the easier way to go
