i think fixing leovince and open pod is total waste of money if u cant get the tuning. those motordiam only wan pull a fast one on u lar. say increase pickup/increase topspeed. in the end only plug and play for you. i say unless u know how to tune or know a mech u trust that will do swee swee for you, no point wasting $$ on those mods...

 

performance would be even worse than stock if not tune properly

spy, i've been reading some article on the carb u mention ... seems its fitted to scram 4 strokes and big cc bikes.. won't it be like an overkill?

MIGHT be but wont be an amazing increase like from eg: 30km/l drop till 15km/l kinda thingy...but performace will be much better.

Since every1 here is rather interested in this product, I am doing some searching over the net and couldnt find anything related to hurricane air filters....May I know when u purchase the product does it come in a packaging box or something wif more info or is the brand name engrave onto the filter or watever. Maybe wif abit more info I might juz dig out something over the internet.

 

How much did u pay for it??

 

A gd filter shld be able to give a total unstricted flow of air, cleans the air in the best manner and maintaining the filter must be easy n durability.

 

Such "mesh" r very common n most of them r universal...so far the best of such "mesh" filters I hav come across is only K&N...cheapest kind of "mesh" filters can even be bought for around $10 at LAB also

u might like to find out the orginal size of ur vxr carb 1st...the carb I mention to u at 34mm is within the range of wat Malossi is selling now dat is a delloroto 35mm

keep dat LV n open pod since aready bought...some tunning will do the trick...then if u remember the LV comes wif a pack of rollers..the tip is do some research on it

Really come with roller? I have not check it. After they fix, they put my stock pipe into box. I'll check it out tonight. Can give full tips? What use of these roller, at least if they keep the roller i can get it back from them. Any recommend place very good in turning?

malossi k&n as well as hurricane

he was the one that told me to switch to hurricane as it was the best outta the 3

and anyway yeah i agree with you guys on the tuning part... but you cant say that all these mods are useless what... its the mechanic's that useless and cant get the right tuning for you isnt it?

Only the 05 LV exhaust comes with a set of roller, which is 19x17 6.3g. This set of roller r for the vxr 125cc if they change to LV pipe, not for VXR 200cc.

Eemmm... then how leh. You are right. I have to do reserch again. What to do next step. I don't plan pump & pump money to upgrade already. No ending. Try to improve by using economic method, maybe change roller & try to get better turning.
