Hi Guys, need some help.

 

Got squeaking sound, especially when I brake hard. Also when I bounce on my seat. Engine mount? Bike is FX plate, about 29k km on it.

where does the squeaky sound come from? does it come from the brakes or rear shock?

to change SEMI-syn engine oil every 1000,3000 and 5000km? wat oil recommened for scoots, maxima ok?

 

other than that what the things to take note beside going fast during running in. need some advices. thanks

As for mine runnin in is 1st 500km @ 80 km/h, 2nd 1500km @ 100 km/h after that wreak... haha... Anyway is up to u...

yup yup many of the new riders nowadays all at a lose of wat they wanna mod...I guess it boils down of not having enuff product knowledge

 

apparently it seems that handguards, open pod n a high mount exhuast r the correct basics...I guess not much ppl really know abt the purpose of a variator, torque pulley, torque springs, adjustable clutches, cams, valves, carbs n block kits.

 

luckily never buy the open pod.. if not, i'm gonna be the perfect example ... kekekeke!!!

 

btw its thru ppl like mr spy and and the rest of the experience runner rider who willing to share their hard earned knowledge to us, newbies!!!

 

very interested in the rear suspension ... came across bitubo and yss .. tried the yss on sm1 bike... very stable but not familiar with the brand ar..

 

1 more thing, i've been introduced by my previous mech to metzeler tyres for 06 runner.. any comment coz so far, the only available ones are gold standard .. so a bit sceptical abt changing to it..

metzeler tyres r good , QC very constant. but wear out faster then pilot sport.

so if u r the type of rider that doesn't corner much , then it will be a waste.

YSS is from Thailand..makes many shocks for different bikes n I hav seen the higher range shocks for kups n bikes like NSRsp..looks rather well. 1 of the better 1s compare to other "modify to fit" shocks on vxr...the YSS shocks for runner I hav seen seems like a perfect fit for vxr

yah...quite ok ah when using yss..for me..quite comfort..but cornering wise, i tink i need to make a bit softer..hard is dangerous for cornering, rite guys?? hehe...n yah, tha mech need to cut ur undertray to fit in to ur bike..

hmm ok....wat is the color of yr bike bro??? For scooter, running in till how many km cos for me i am riding naked bike and my running in is till 2000km...
