my bike has already passed the 10000km mileage and also that it has been modded. anyways the so called injection of the oil was stuck, so when i throttle, it didnt get compressed. as such oil got accumulated in it.

.....injection of the oil got stuck n didnt get compress????....the vxr200 is using a CV carb...it can be service n shld hav various parts available for sale..so which is the problem wif the carb which make it unservicable thus changing a whole carb??

shd be a s4 ar ... full chromed less plastics and tank and tires ... brake hose? forget liow but its caliper oso chrome , if not wrong ar.. very bling bling ...

Hmmmm. Seems like the case.

 

IF the 06 runner is still using the walbro carb. It can be troublesome.

 

1st, CAnnot find jets.

 

Second, all the carb rebuild kit. donno easy to find or not.

But according to piaggio parts manual, a carb rebuild kit does exist.

But then again. Available locally or not is another story.

 

1 year carb spoil. Sounds abit funny. Unless it was abused.

But even so, the carb won;t spoil so fast one what.

does the clutch slip thing happens all through out the day? if it only happens in the early morning when u 1st start the bike den it should be jux due to morning dew... ride a while more & it should go away

 

Yes, i agree when morning or engine cold cold down. Cluth slip is more serius. For my case, morning/cold engine is happen cluth slip, when hot engine with 2person on the bike also same thing. Of course not all the way. It happen when slow down at traffic light / traffic jam, then when i try to throttle low petrol it start to choking. If i throttle high petrol, it only have minor choke.

I have face green oil appear at my below engine *(near the main stand). And send back to Piaggio centre. They help to change dunno coolent pipe ring or what, but solve the problem already. Mine also 07' still under warranty.

I need advice for another case, after i change lv pipe last few month. My bike some time backfiring everytime close throttle. This is normal? Or i need to solve this problem asap? It will spoil my engine ?

it could be just dust. u can opt to open up & clean it thoroughly to try once more b4 deciding to cut threads on the clutch pads

Think I have a clearer picture now. All the VXR uses the same family of engine. leader 200.

 

What u have mentioned is either the coolent hose clip or the o ring at the thermostat housing.

 

I have the same problem with my ex 03 vxr. 1 Year after I bought it.

 

Trace the leak and it leads the to hose that is connected to the thermostat side. causes of that leak. The hose clip was loose.

 

So I make use of this oportunity to change 3 hose clip to those normal type.

 

Those that uses screwdriver to tighten and loosen. The kind that u use for water hose in the garden or the water hose in your toilet.

 

Same time just nice I can drain the coolant and use water wetter.

 

That was like donkey years ago.

 

But 1 thing I find it funny. Why do you call it green oil? I call it green liquid. Cos it's not thick like engine oil. Thus I won't call it oil.

 

Even brake fluid, I won't call it "oil line" cos it's just too thin to be call "oil" for me. Yes, it may feels like those singer oil. but definately not engine oil like

correct tension selection of the torque spring is a part of ur transmission setup..for dat little yellow cap to be place between the clutch n spring from malossi, actually orginal already hav but the malossi version is of a better quality...not much feedback from it as itz still a rather new product..but the best will be replacing it wif bearings....

Jets hav liao but still limited. Rebuild kit dun tink available...but then again less than 1 year carb spoil is really hard to believe

Hey guys just gotten my gilera VXR few days ago.would appreciate if you guys could help me.=)

 

Planning to do up my bike alittle like accessories any shops to recommend? Was looking to maybe change the front headlight cover, as well as the back.

 

Also the bike shop gave me 2 keys,1 Brown 1 Red. Both keys can start the bike. But only 1 key can start the engine any idea why is this so?

 

Any one tainted their front headlight cover here? is it legal to do so? just alittle tainted.

got the same problem after i changed to the GPR pipe. according to sheep, if this problem is not resolve, engine will go kaput in time to come.

aiya y go n change GPR pipe???....well give u a clue...to solve the backfiring problem, u hav to setup ur carb really properly to suit the exhuast..so to make life easy, nv try to jet a carb which is difficult to jet where u hardly can find spares for jets n stuff...try jetting a more common carb wif many available spares.

 

If u nv change the GPR pipe in the 1st plc, the amount of $$ can be used for other stuff to "go faster" wifout having this farting problem

bro mohgui, i think u are running lean ar.. too much air .. ur current carb , dellorto rite, with original settings still can get rid the farting sound, no need to change jettings..

 

btw spy .. the carb u mentioned before, wat kind of price and milleage am i looking at? tried looking for it but usually after werk, no time liow...
