some at the mirror, soeme front panel, some below the throttle

i think below the throttle is only for the 06 model. you can't do this on a 05 model. below the throttle would be the best place... easily accessible and it doesn't look akward sticking out at the mirrors.

Not really if u forget most of the time leaving ur cash card vulnerable to thiefs.. the best is the front panel..

the boost bottle is a 2stroke technology initially but can be also use on 4stroke carb bikes which is juz like the runner vxr as it work on the basis of richening the mixture in ur carb at certain timing...

correct, but if a thief is armed with an allen key, they can easily remove the front panel and take the cash card.

to me personally, i prefer below the throttle. i need to know what's the balance of the cash card.

anyway, it's up the each one's preference.

it doese work well...but as I say in my previous post size does matters...go n search up the net for a proper explaination on how this boost bottle works..caculation of the correct volume to match ur bike, lenght n size or ur connection tubes n placing position is the key...most boost bottles currently in the scooter market will give u some improvement but rather minimum..useful for bikes which r not so "modded"..to do make it really work itz best, the key points I had explain above r important if not it will again be another nice looking gadget hanging ard ur bike

Hi Spy, so you will recommend use original roller come with Multivar? Because some mech will try ask us exchange with 12.5g from original weight. I might get the Multivar tomorrow. Is it really improve/feel the different of pickup? Because it is not cheap to try leh.

ok guys...many of us will usually have the variator as the 1st modification done to the bike....

variator is juz a piece of the front pulley on the whole 4 pulley transmission system.

currently we have 2 big aftmkt names locally which is Polini n Malossi which gives their variator product different names

Malossi = Multivar 2000

Polini = Speed Control

Both brands sells the variator set with different items

Malossi = pulley, roller cover, pulley bush, rollers of a certain weight, torque spring, u-clips

Polini = pulley, roller cover, pulley bush, rollers of a certain weight, u-clips, grease.

1st of all these aftmkt manufacturers spend some $$ for research n development on thier product making which includes the best setup attain on most scoots when the product is fitted on n gives the buyer some instant feel in the diff of the performace which in this case explains y they hav included a set of rollers inside for u to use whereby they shld have tested n understand dat that certain weight of the rollers provided will give a "better performace" figure over "most" bikes.

Of coz when we tok abt choosing correct roller weight depends alot on the rider's weight n watever other performace products u have in the bike thus watever given may not be suitable for every1...BUT for sure watever inclusive in the package will be a good "starting guideline" for u to use b4 u decide to lighten or increase ur roller weights in the future.

IF your bike is near stock I will strongly suggest u to use the roller weights dat come with the variator.
