Passed my 2b on Thursday too.

Did some reccee for the Gilera Vxr. Itz hard to find a good 2nd hand Vxr.

Thinks Bike Production has one of the lower prices in the lower region of 7k(free helmet) for a 1st hand. Not sure if they'l accept full cash. (one of the first few shops i went to, so i still kinda blur blur, didnt ask much).

Another shop that i went to is behind Singapore Post at Payar Lebar.

7.7K Cash(free box,IU + helmet/bike cover/raincoat). Do u guys think its reasonable?

 

of cos the one with more goodies and cheaper...though mine from bike pro...

stuff with things to prevent vibration but still spoile...

Is it true that tuning the stock carb for '05 runner is worthless? Any way for me to play around with the bike, other than the carb, then?

 

 

the stock carb have very limited in tunning, change to a mikuni vm34 you be happy with it

yea.. tho it seems big.. its been designed to cut wind better. aerodynamic.

abt 5 or more km/h difference.

Anyway, is it legal to spraypaint the fairings? Or must get LTA permission? I saw many runners with nice fairings ......

How long can the malossi kevlar belt lasts?

I read in some forum in other country that the belt might snap at just only 3000km. Anyone faced belt snapped before? What brand of belt did you use? At what mileage did it snap? The thought of it scares me ........ Imagine on expressway and nobody on the left is giving way for you to go to the road shoulder, while you are free-wheeling. (Unless you're already on the most left lane)

my last belt change was suppose to due at 14k ar.. estimated.. but when i check my trans, my belt was already in bad condition at 10k.. maybe the way i ride? maybe ar.. too slow.. kekekekeke!

guess u don change ya paintwerk using decals is a better choice. scout around for someone who do them e.g SKINZO. cost about 300+- but power.

i dont know. none have stopped me. cos none have met me. heh.

 

man if painting fairings need permission LTA wiLL have Lotsa work to do.

my belt snaps in 4000km due to some modifications...if ur bike is rather stock, orginal belt will last u up to 8000km..of coz check ur pulleys for wear n tear

I did mine with Skinzo. Was the 1st one to do so... it wasn't 300+... wahahha... now the price go up already...

hi guys, got a qns regarding my gilera. these 2 days when i throttle more during initial pick up there seems to be a delay of abt 1-2 secs in the response. anyone encounter this before? btw my bike havent finish run-in with current mileage abt 450km.
