For a vxr normally its clutch slip. u sure its belt slip?

i guess so. cos after i throttle abit, then there's this jerk then my bike move off. so i was suspecting maybe the belt slip before it grips or somethin. is it?

and another thing, what can i do to increase my performance without changing to an openpod or changing my pipe...?

ther r tons of aftmkt parts for increasing performace rather than juz changing to an open pod or exhuast...

juz wondering y nowadays riders tink dat an open pod n exhuast change will give ultimate extra performace.

In the other side of the world (the ang mo land) riders will upgrade the exhuast n fuel intake to pair in the very 1st stage of increasing performace on the scoots which is correct n easy becoz over ther they hav very very experience scoot shops which will install n setup the ride usually using a dyno...I do not mean dat local shops cant do a gd job setting up but it seems dat in the ang mo land they uses more expensive tools and machinces to assist them thus I guess the accuracy shld be slightly better.

and about the watever belt slip or clutch slip, basically I feel auto scooters shld hav a jerky launch becoz it has no manual clutch wher u can perform the "half clutch control" thingy.

Wat do u ppl think??..any other inputs??

well... personally for me the jerky start feeling like a clutch slip is actually something else

becoz it usually only happens in the early morning, its more like the morning dew captured within the transmission box reducing the friction between the parts thus losing the grip

anyway it only happens within the 1st 1 or 2 moving off state

it has never happen to me should i start riding after 10am

guess the sun helps to stop this from happening

my 2 cents worth

i do experience the jerky feeling to. Especially in the morning even after warming up 4 5 mins.. think its bcoz of the morning dew.. after 2 to 3 aacelerations then its back to normal..

1 more thing guys. On my speedometer, the temperature display, normarly the temp bar rises to the centre rite.sometimes mine, it will blink, 1 bar at each side, the C section n the H section.. Whats wrong??

Pls help me...Thanx....

Check the regulator (battery charger), it might not charging. :sian:

i guess so too. any riders have any inputs on this pls rectify. if i not i guess just classify this as the morning dew effect. lol.

thats what the angmohs told me that they usually change the exhaust system first and then change other parts. but then, i'm a newbie here so i dont really know what to change besides the open pod or the exhaust. i know there's the multivar, rollers, etc. but i'm not really sure what does it do or what should i fix and dont fix. any input on this guys?

if battery and charger is not the fault...the last thing to check is the starter relay and starter motor.

ya know, when my bike is running, and i press on the brakes, i can hear my starter spinning. does that say if my starter is working? if not, then i think its just my batt thats dead. gotta remove the light at the bottom of my bike..

When u press brake u hear starter running means ur starter switch jamed!

Do a check on tis; is ur headlamp on when u cant start the bike? if ur headlamp is on and u cant start bike, most likely is the starter relay or starter motor problem.

The starter relay contact is no good, some time can some time cannot, starter motor carbon wear out also have the same problem, some time can start some time cannot. :sian:
